  1. Last Man Standing was picked up by FOX, for at least the 7th season. Glad it was Fox, because initial rumor was Net Flix picking it up. I guess two of the main actors will not be returning so far and being re-cast, Molly Ephraim and Flynn Morrison. Not the first time they re-cast a character, Alexandra Krosney with Amanda Fuller for the role of Kristin. Not much I look forward to on TV anymore but, stoked about this show returning.
  2. Might have to re-sign up for the Net Flix DVD subscription if they put it out in that format. Looks like it's going be a decent flick.
  3. I guess next time the wife goes with me and catches a bunch I'll bring 'em home and freeze 'em up. I agree with most that are good eating. I also prefer perch, and they rarely get a release. Now I have a craving for perch chowder.
  4. For my hunting and hiking gear, only use permethrin now. The only thing that doesn't get treated is my face masks. Camping, that's tougher, the clothing makes more contact with the skin, so Deep Woods Off or Repel with 25% Deet. I had to run out and get a bag of ice yesterday, and when I got out of the truck to come in the house I had one on my shirt. No clue where it came from, hoping they aren't in my truck because I have no idea how to get rid of them if they are. They have gotten really bad the past 5-6 years ( maybe more for some areas ).
  5. Some of the best fish I have ever eaten was on those trips. No seasonings, just fillet and go. I don't think I have ever caught a 9"+ blue gill or sunny. I think 7" would be the biggest.
  6. How many on here keep sunnies, pumpkinseed, blue-gills, and smaller crappie to eat? One reason I'm asking because when I used to do over night hikes or camps in the back woods, if there was a small pond or lake I would keep them, fillet them up and have them for dinner. Second reason is the wife had a blast catching guppies last Saturday. I even gave up and started tossing a bobber and worm out just to land something. I think they might be great in the fryer with either a batter or bread crumb coating.
  7. Kool-Aid? And you gave me crap for a Seagram's beverage because it was blue? At least it wasn't kool-aid. WTH- TF? LOL. Now I might have to take a break from tasty Trout Town to have another Seagrams. this one will be red, like kool-aid. LOL. Enjoy the beverage brother. W/e beats the heat. On a serious note, I hope they get the electric back on soon out that way. Too hot to at least not have a fan running.
  8. I used to swear by Spider Wire. It was on both of my bait casters, one with 12LB and the other with 16LB. Many moons ago. 8 or 10LB Mono on the open face set ups. Now, I have gone back to the old failsafe Berkley Trilene, currently, Big Game ( green ) which is a mono on all my set ups except my ultra-light set up. My UL set up is still Trilene, but 4LB mono. I really have no reason why I made the change. More or less it was where I fish and what I am fishing for. I'm not in a boat on the great lakes trying to land 20+LB lunkers of any species. I fish from shore on small lakes and ponds, and this is what works best for me personally.
  9. Liked this a lot at Yannis a few weeks back. Was surprised to find it in a store. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  10. I think most would like the Taste Of Inspiration line. Just have to remember to spin the wings, not just douce them with sauce. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  11. I like the sauces. Especially the garlic-parm and the mango-habenero. . The siricha -garlic isn't great, but not bad. Yes, a Hannaford aka Shop&Save ( yep, still have one up the road in Ravena ) store brand. I would mail you some, but pretty sure they would get lost en-route. LOL. 15. Wings. Not sure why I decided to make my kitchen a heat box, but the end result was worth it. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  16. The last I read or heard about it was this: https://www.dailysignal.com/2017/12/05/big-win-utah-trump-scales-back-federal-land-grab-obama-administration/ I didn't realize it was still an issue.
  17. They aren't like deer ya know. Supposedly they trow rocks and push trees down on your camp. Best of luck getting one eddie. If nothing else the pics will be awesome.
  18. Professional grade chafing dishes. Good condition. Stainless steel and durable. We don't have the SS insert trays, but the foil pans work great. Asking $65 for both, will not separate. Local pick up only. PM if interested. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  19. Where do you get your hair cut? I might get an actual hair cut more often if they gave a beer or two while waiting. Oh, nice loafers. LOL
  20. Trying this while dinners on the grill. Not bad considering I'm not a big fan of the Sam Adams family of brews. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
