No, not really. I like to have room to walk around, I can't sit all morning, day, or afternoon. 2014 I only had my bow, and I hunted a bow only area that was public land in the burbs. I didn't care for it too much. Hearing cars that sounded like they were driving by right next to me was odd to me. Hearing other hunters slam vehicle doors was more then irritating. The only thing more irritating was the thump of an over-dropped base from car stereos. I just prefer to hunt in the woods like it was intended. I really don't care where or how other people hunt anymore. To me, it's about getting out in the woods, scouting, and taking your chances. I wouldn't fish a trout farm either just to catch fish. But like I said, if the area allows hunting, then do it. We don't all need to hunt the same way. We just need to hunt.

If the area allows hunting then go for it. I personally like being in the woods and not seeing houses and roads.

Super Bowl 50 - Pats vs Panthers. KC has been impressive, but w/e you say about Cam, he is a very versatile QB and will most likely find a way get it done. NE will do what they always do and "find" a way to win. I really don't care who takes the AFC. I can't stand either team. The Super Bowl if I even watch it will most likely just be background noise.

So what keeps you from doing it? Lack of gear? Fear? Knowledge?

No, I just slow cooked them on the grill for 6 hours with indirect heat. I don't have a smoker.

Left over baby-back ribs I made yesterday, and dirty rice with garlic-cheese Italian sausage. The g/f picked up the sausage on sale and it was OK at best.

Mid 40's here. I used to love JD, Old Grand-Dad, and Jim Beam when I was younger. Then I got more into Wild Turkey and in my 30's. Then I switched to J&B brandy. Usually shots or over ice. But, the one drink I love over all is a good spicy Bloody Mary! I love tomato juice and V8 original. I haven't touched a drop of any liquor in over two years. I still like a beer, but the hard stuff isn't good for my pancreas.

I prefer camping in the actual woods too. But, the better half isn't into that ( anymore ). It's cool though, as I don't have to mess around making a fire-pit to cook a couple racks of ribs on. When we camp we eat well. Part of a great camp is the food. Nothing wrong with a backing packing trip with freeze dried food, but a nice steak.chops/ribs, is better then MH chicken.

Didn't you also mention you had a great canvas tent with a stove? I am being honest here, I mean no ill feelings, but if you had the gear, what kept you from doing it?
