Sure. You come on over and hop up and down on those brush piles. LOL
-
So from these posts FSW and jjb will be wearing blue dresses hoping for a visit from Bill and serving "pretzel logs and cheese balls".

Very true. Looks everyone is going to have some good eats and enjoy the game. Mine got a change up. Still doing my hot wings, but, the little woman decided she wanted garlic-parm instead of medium. No cracker plate now, salsa and chips.

A hunter eating rabbit in a restaurant? For shame Biz!
-
Wow, Eddie. Guess the people you know have no self control with the booze. As for the other food, I'm lovin" it!
-
What are you all doing? Are you watching? Having a get together? Just me and the g/f here. If you are having people over what are you serving? Easy way, order pizza and wings? Making your own food? I wasn't going to even bother watching, but.... It's the big game. I am making homemade medium and extra hot wings, store bought jumbo pizza bites, and pepperoni cheese and crackers for a basic snack.

Congrats on killing a deer and getting 24" of snow cleared to snap the pics!

Not sure how I missed this but, it explains a lot. We had flank steak ( it was on sale ), steamed broccoli, and homemade onion rings.

Shelves? You can put up a shelf with ease and almost anywhere.

D.E.C. seeking hunter input on the rescinding 2015 of antlerless only
DirtTime replied to Jmny's topic in Deer Hunting
This is a great point. If everyone reported kills maybe there wouldn't be all this BS from DEC about low numbers. But, even the DEC can't account for poachers who don't even have a license. There is no way to get factual numbers with these people doing what they do. -
Are you talking media as in the news or "Social Media"? The news on TV/Radio is censored by the GOV. Social Media is plagued by far more agendas. They take what was posted by the news, and then add w/e they like to make it juicy and invoke a reply. There are many websites that read/copy news, embellish on it and that's the word of God. No representative in person was there, but they spread the BS like butter on a hot pancake.

What's on Your (not hunting or fishing related) Bucket List?
DirtTime replied to wildcat junkie's topic in General Chit Chat
Top of my list is to find who did it and why my mothers head stone was moved. Next, is to find a frikin Dr. who can get this issue with my back and neck worked out so I am not in pain every frikin day! Then, to find a house, trailer, w/e in our price range in the country so we can move out of the wretched city we live in. After all that, I want to make a new bucket list. -
When Does Less Equal More?
DirtTime replied to wildcat junkie's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
When you keep telling women 3" is the same as 6". Referencing "bullet drop" of course. Less is more using a scope in thicker areas. Fixed would be better. But, over all, it's up to you and what you prefer. What ever works best for you is the best route. -
Haven't taken any pics of the few squirrels I have shot this season. Never crossed my mind to take pics. Next planned outing is for this Sunday morning for a couple hours, and if I get a couple I will get a pic. The only rabbits I see are driving when I go in the very early morning, and those are running off the side of the road.

Coyotes, rabbit, squirrel.................... I am still hitting the woods. Not as much as I would like, but still getting out there. Even had days where I just walked the woods and didn't kill a bushy tail.
-
I would rather watch the LPGA. Some hot women and the camera men do a great job at catching the right "perspective".

Canada banning wood stoves
DirtTime replied to Mr VJP's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I don't remember the laws, and to be honest, I don't care to look them up. But, aren't there areas in Rochester where you can't have a wood burning fireplace? It has to be gas? -
We go out for dinner maybe 4 or 5 times a year. I do 90% of the cooking in my house. And it's never boxed/bagged food ( OK, maybe the veggies are in a steam bag ). Hell, I don't even use premixed spices. I make my own seasoning and rubs. We have family gatherings a few times a year, mostly the g/f's family. We used to host at least 5 cookouts a year. It just got to be too much work/money for people to show up, eat, and bail.

He's liking that woodland. I bet some Mossy Oak or Real Tree will will have him giggling so much he gets to the "stinky stage" fast.

I try and find humor when things aren't always rosy.

Glad your mom is OK. That's a lobster bib. I have been known to take a few home....... -
I think the 223 questions stem from more people wanting to use an AR for deer.
-
Still not hunting if you open fire with a full mag AR and tracer rounds on game. But, that's just my opinion. I would rather miss with a bolt or pump then treat an animal like scumbag that just shot up the bar I was in. Like I said, just my opinion.
