Any of the owners or staff ever consider creating a live chat room for this site? Not a shout box ( never understood why forums have a shout box, it's nothing more then a mini forum for lazy people ), an actual chat room. Would be interesting to talk in real time with members from this site.

Blood for blood, and eye for an eye. You kill someone ( other then honest self defense ) you hit death row and and get one last fix from a needle. Same goes for the super scum who mess with children in any way. Don't keep them on "row" for weeks, months, years. Get it done. Everyday a lowlife spends in jail or prison is a day paid for by tax payers.

Fired up the grill for a couple t-bones. Along with that roasted baby golds, jalapeno stuffed mushrooms ( used my homemade canned jalapeno's ), sauteed garlic and shallots to top the steak, and garlic steamed asparagus ( yes, we love our garlic in this house ). Might wash it down with a Grolsch.

I agree grampy. I still think this messed up weather has the animals all screwy too. From 50 to 20 over night ( in my area ). Even the critters must be thinking "WTF?".

Sorry, I didn't feel the need to re-say what was said. You are correct eddie. This new fad isn't up my alley. Toting a C02 canister and tube to hunt just adds weight and bulk. This new contraption looks cool, and that's will make it sell. That and the "It's new, I gotta have it!" factor.

You sure about that. Wal-Mart's online ammo section says available only in stores. Last week when I was looking to see if Dicks had a specific cartridge for my rifle I hit the site and found that they now have a "come into the store for details" with their ammo, all of it. When you click on any ammo it gives you a blank page. I like going to local gun shops for some ammo, gives me a reason to browse and see what's in the used gun area.

Looks cool. Not a bow by any means. It's a gun. A "bow" has a string IMO. After reading this and the new actual air gun thread, I am seeing a trend that perhaps we over looked. Maybe the air gun companies know something we don't?

What kind of gun? If it's a bolt action you can mount and even 'bore-sight' on your own. Mount the scope, and remove the bolt ( with the bold out you can look down the inside of the barrel ). Make a paper target with a dot on it. Set the gun ( not saying just rifle because you can do this with a bolt shotgun as well ) in a stable ( preferably viced ) fixed position. Look through the barrel, and line up the center of the barrel with the dot. Without moving the gun, adjust the crosshairs in the scope to line up with the dot. You should be 'on paper' with this method. Then just dial it in. As for pump or auto loaders, I do take them in for a laser "bore-sight".

For me, it was left over golumpkis. The g/f doesn't like the cabbage, so I made her lemon chicken and a pasta salad with salami and pepper-jack cheese.

The state land I went to, I always say the little furry tailed nuisances deer hunting. Nothing seemed to be moving at all yesterday. Drastic weather change might have something to do with it. I was going to go again this morning with the sun being out. Started the truck, and it was 8 degrees at 9am. I shut off the truck ( after I let it warm for a bit ), put the shotgun back in the cabinet, and make breakfast for myself. I got the snowblower tire repaired, hot some new bulbs for the outside lights, and helped the little woman out and did some grocery shopping. I like small game hunting, but geez, I ain't freezin my no-no's off for a squirrel. LOL

I went out to do some squirrel hunting this morning. It was colder then a witches *** out there. It was 10 degrees. I lasted about an hour walking and bailed. Even walking my face was froze. I didn't see one frikin' squirrel to even make it worth while.

I used to try and stay quiet as far as some of this BS too growie. Hard to just bite the lip and move on these days. I don't agree with your thought about how to deal with it.
