I look up knife sheaths and sheath making items. I'd imagine most here know that some knife sheaths are called danglers. So I've had too look up leather bolts and screws, d-rings for dangler sheath, and a few other items that have some odd phrasing and wording. By the theory some are saying about history and cookies my ads would be seriously beyond the add the OP posted about. Yet, nothing even close to porn ever comes up when an ad does make it through. Years ago I had issues with ads about things I don't look up, but ad blockers stop them for the most part. Now I think I'll have to check what blockers are out there for my phone. About the last thing I need to have pop up is a "banana" licking chick in an ad anywhere. Facebook is another world. How they come up with those people in the "People You May Know" used to crack me up. I'd guess that is still out of whack.

Bill is getting the same pop up ads as that one? Um............ Hey, if people are looking up naughty stuff who are we to judge? Guys, tell me you didn't steal your dads or dads friends dirty mags growing up. On the PC my ad blocker works fine. If I'm using my phone to log in here the ads are either political or sporting goods related. So raunchy jokes are bad, but an image of a dude getting a *&^%$#@ is acceptable family content. SMH. If Chef isn't reinstated after this thread there's something wrong.

I have a pair of wool jammmies, and yes they are soft. My wool blanket is soft as well.

Well, now that I got a taste of using a ML, I'd like an early season for the SZ like the NZ has, which for the record you can use a crossbow during that week up north. So you could start using a crossbow mid October. So you may not have 10/1, but you gain at least two weeks to use it.

You can use a crossbow for what, 6-7 weeks in the SZ? 9-10 in the NZ? Seems like a pretty long season to me.

Since buying the snow blower we see less and less snow. I don't mind a little snow for the deer season, then that crap can go away.

Wife woke up sick as heck so we didn't head up north. Sort of bummed as they have some snow up there but it is what it is. I may head out later for a late afternoon sit. Guess it's time to get the snow blower out and get that taken care of. Congrats to those who got deer yesterday.

Just checked all 4 Wallyworlds in my area, and nodda. I was looking to get a basic hang-on to use in a few places to set up and see over some brush and was hoping maybe they had a few on sale.

Rain at 4AM here, so watched FOX for a while. Stopped about 7. We had a bunch of things to get done and got back into the Glenmont area about 1PM. Went into Walmart and when we came out it was pouring. Stayed that way until about 4. I figure the blind I was planing to hunt up north tomorrow is probably flooded with a few inches water. It's down slight slope and the area I set up between some trees is a slight dip in the ground. That area can also get a bit swampy with a lot of rain, so with yesterday morning and this afternoon................. Looks like I might have to sneak around that area and set up on a ridge that looks over the same little mini valley my wife sits a few hundred yards out. She's sees deer go through there all the time, so maybe I'll at least see a deer that I know WTH it is.

I was watching Gutfeld this morning at 4AM on FOX this morning. I had planned to be in the woods for a couple hours before looking at a house but, rain kept me in so watched. Main discussion was that even the Left are tired of the Left. The WOKE crap, BLM, and how a lot of things have gone to far. I doubt they will do much to try and correct their asinine mistakes, but I guess at least admitting they screwed up on a lot of things might be a start.

I'm with ya. My wife's seen more deer then I have and she's only hunted once so far this season.

Rare evening sit for me later today. Have to try something different. Telling the wife suppers gonna be chicken nuggets in the oven for 20 minutes when I get home.
