    I Strongly suggest Carlson's waterfowl tubes. Keeps patterns tight and consistent with steel at extended ranges. My old gun has a pattern master which is also a good choke but too expensive for me. Edit... With that said I've shot lots of birds with modified chokes lol.

    Carlson's long range with black cloud 3.5 2's, or any relatively fast 2 shot. Out of my sx4. I switch to a mid range choke on smaller waters for them.

    Great thread I need to improve my game on base layer. I usually put on some sweat pants, and sweater then my bibs and jacket. That's why you see me in the live from woods thread saying that I'm freezing my balls off so often lol

    Hunted the last three days in a spot that's new to me because my buddy just showed it to me. Creek hunting and it was fun. Had tons of birds work the spread and some good groups commit. Some of the groups were too big to get into the creek. Total three days we (group) killed 24 Drake's and two hens. Also a gadwall and a goose. It has been a great late season and hopefully can get out once more but possible that it's over for me.

    I've been out a few times, not much though. Conditions have been good but it's 35 now and going up to 50 this week.

    My lab loves the cold he can stand it much longer than I can even wearing warm clothes. He also loves the fire.

    Funny some of you may remember me mentioning chasing a drop tine 11 this season. I had him show the second last day of muzzleloader with half of one side broken off.. I've been chasing him for two seasons now and I passed the shot. ( Mostly because the drop was gone. If I have him on my wall I want to remember him as the drop tine buck)
