I've never had this problem when shooting at a target, but I used to always get it when shooting at a deer. Up until 2 years ago I had to literally talk myself out of punching the trigger when I would see brown in the sight ring. It was a bad habit that cost me an animal. After I lost that deer I vowed to go through everything mentally as the shot unfolded.
I put in my first food plot last fall using Whitetail Institute's Pure attraction and had great results with it. Im thinking about trying something new and I was wondering what you guys are planting and having success with. Im in region 4 and around 2000 ft altitude.
+1 Doc. I am not much of a coyote hunter but I do get out a few times each season and to see filmed hunts in the east is great. Keep up the good work guys!
Lets see. Deer hunt until the season closes (L.I.), duck & goose hunting, white perch fishing, coyote hunting & trapping, stand removal, scouting, shed hunting, arrow refletching, and sleeping in!
Good call WNY. It shows you are an honest, stand up guy. I hope it comes back to you in spades. I just got word the boss is letting me out early! I'll be in the woods this afternoon.
