    Load it at camp. And don't do drastic temp changes as the condensation will make power damn. I use to put a piece of blk tape over the end of the barrel. That's a tough gun to hunt with, but I understand why. Good luck to you!

    That's awesome! Need some for my pine tree strand and the red squirrels. But I need it about 10 times more powerful. So it takes them a wild to come back! They are tough!

    If it was 70 out I would have been. But 82! No thanks. To many bugs. And as someone else said. Getting the deer processed. Just to warm. But a good thing is. Now they don't have miles of corn to hind in and maybe they will start hitting the food plots a bit more

    So I get home from work. It's 82 outside. I'm not going to hunt. I send the boy out back to get the card out of the camera because they have been cutting the corn all around me. 5mins goes by and he's back. He said you better get ur now there's deer in the food plot! I laughed. But his face was serious. So I get the bow and sneak out there. Sure enough mom and 2 babies eating away! I left them eat! I just thought it was kinda funny!

    I agree with this totally! I get it. Once in a while u put a bad shot on an animal! But these animals aren't target practice! They are living creatures! We as hunters owe them a quick death. And if u make a poor shot! (We all have) give it 110% percent! I still to this day have a few deer that haunt me! And 2 of them were doe. I felt I put a good shot on that animal and tracked it for ever. And when ran out of blood grid searched the whole next day. Take ur time guys! Breath (sometimes hard to do) make the shot count. We owe it to the animals! And u and Luna are the best! Thank u for your service! Great job!

    If u put a shot on a deer and u aren't sure it's a kill shot. U go after it after a 1/2 hour? Well I sure hope that you recover that deer. Because I've chased them for a very long time! I'll stay put. And most of the time you only have to worry about that rodent coyote at night. But I do get what u are trying to say. But a bad or not sure bow shot! Wait it out! Some times it's the toughest 2 hrs of ur life. But trust me. My neighbor has my buck! Because I didn't wait. And I pushed him out of his bed.

    The rut is awesome! I hope u hit it perfect! Bow hunting is the best. And hopefully it cools down and even gets better

    They predict the rut is going to happen early this year. I was kinda wondering if they were wrong. No rubs. No scrapes. But that vid gives me hopes.

    I'd get out of there. Go drink a coffee and give it a little while! A few hours as others have said. If u got a decent hit let him expire. If u didn't. He's on the other side of the county by now. Pushing him is the worst thing u can do. I'm talking from many years of mistakes

    Who here uses Wilson's beef farm? I tried a different place last year. I didn't feel like taking the drive to Wilson's. I will never make that mistake again! I can't wait to take the drive this year! (Hopefully)!!! I want hotdogs, bacon cheddar burgers, Cajun bleu cheese! Yummy!!!!!!

    I have taken the shot a few times. Mostly when I was younger. Found those deer. But I learned it's not a smart move. So I wait now

    I am kinda with you. I will hunt way more when it gets a bit cooler. But I have been out for a couple short sits. Only get so many days a year in the whitetail woods.
