    Follow G-Man and RobH's suggestion. Dampness can suck down juice. Recheck all connections, alternator, battery could even be bad again, batteries now a days are crap. See if your neighbor can run a test to see if the alternator is charging too. Could have a bad cell in the battery too, theres a test you can do to see if the battery holds a charge too.

    He came into 20 yards, i was getting aimed, then he turned, went from my left to right sort of quarting at me if that makes sense, he looked at me at one point, put head back down, looked back up at me, all as he traveled through, was afraid he would bolt off if i went "bah"....it all happened so fast too. I was trying to figure out how low to aim for 10 yards too, since its zeroed at 20, and no 10 yrd crosshair.

    Just did the same, but never shot, thick here with saplings. First deer ever scoping with a crossbow. He came right at me, and quartered towards me, he never stopped, was zig zagging, and I just couldnt aim good enough to be confident. He came into my 10 yard zone, and was just a lot to figure out to be honest. Just got this crossbow Friday after dark, never held one, or shot one till Friday.

    Going to just keep positive, everything happens for a reason, and thats the second buck in a few hours. I think last season, I did not see a buck here at all. Chef can verify how fortunate of a day this has been so far for this area, lol.

    Still have that heart rush feeling. He was a great buck for here, actually had brows, we rarely see brows here over half inch

    All kidding aside a big 8 came right at me, had him in the scope around 20 yards, and i couldnt aim well enough, shook like a leaf, he kept walking into branches. Hearts pounding!

    Im still out in 3k. Decided to tippy toe to my stand farthest in. I have not hunting this stand in a few weeks, or so.

    Just saw the first decent buck here since 2015 while hunting. Saw mainbeams spread to about ear tips, but didnt see tines, he was like a ghost. There, and gone motionless, and without a sound.

    100% agree especially in my area where I work. Then I get looks from these individuals as if they can't comprehend how I haven't seen a deer yet....

    Boss just texted me, sent a pic of a nice 7 pointer, "oh it will ne good next year, if he makes it" i want to puke.... Then he proceeded to inform me how he feels the rut will be winding down this week. Such a kill joy. I don't agree but what a debby downer. He hunts 3M with boatloads of deer.
