  1. Tried googling them....no results unfortunately. Like that 845 area code
  2. I cannot even fathom the thought of seeing a deer like that.
  3. Back in finally. Ended up not hunting most of yesterday, and until now. Im a big fan of 10am-2pm, even though i stay until dark. In my skyscraper stand, thats neen left vacant a couple weeks.
  4. Small world, I am about a mile from Highland Lake itself. O commute through Glen Spey, Forestburgh, Oakland Valley and on down. I used to call my Grandpa "Pop" I hunt with his Thermos he used to bring to work every single day, it has to be 50+ yrs old, and will keep coffee hot for literally the entire day. I have had it still warm the next morning. Not like today's garbage. I will have to let you know when it is reopened.
  5. Funny you mention that. I live about 10 mins from there. It's long out of business, sold, fly by noght restaurant reopened it, sold, bought, bulldozed all to the ground, and now being rebuilt as a new Eldred Preserve I am hearing.
  6. Haha yeah. So up and down through here, that one mile its good, next is solid ice, its no joke driving this area in weather.
  7. For whatever its worth, I am in Eldred, bit south of your camp, we didnt get any snow here, just wet snow that melted on contact. I know its crazy up here with changing elevations, but just figured I would add that.
  8. Horrible day for both of us, very sorry for your loss.
  9. I wouldn't have shot either. Last thing I want is an animal suffering due to my actions. I have coworkers like your buddies. Theres a reason why one of them is nicknamed "shoulder" from prior bow season
  10. Animals are lazy, your foot prints were its path of least resistance. lots of deer tracks in my boot prints out back, pretty neat. Not sure in your case, as to what though
  11. Very cool, I need to start looking into coyote hunting.
  12. Welcome, and good luck with the new life.
  13. Unfortunately, had to rush out of the woods, Not sure I will be out tomorrow at this point
  14. Hey, its what I do lol actually, a family friend is moving to Texas, so I bought some odds, and ends for hunting off him. 2 tree stands, 2 tree stand umbrellas, and that pair of gloves. I got home, and tossed them into my backpack. As comfused by this post as you were, Ivwas probably about as equally confused as to why that(left) glove wasn't fitting my hand for haha
  15. Don't get the kind I seem to always buy, my right side gets cold, but the left hand NEVER gets cold
  16. I have a good pile at work lol, and when someone loses a righty, im instantly blamed haha
