Chicken Parm Hero! It saved my day

With a lot less power, and therefore capabilities if one needed them, that was kind of my point. Vehicles may get similar mpg as there older versions, but they are much more capable the newer they get was sort of my point.

Yes, remove air fryer from home, gently place next to your mailbox. This time of year is perfect, between junk week, and scrappers cruising the hood.

lol, i had to fast forward at times, he was very distracting with his hands IMO.

I’m not attempting to debate, but I agree with some of his points. Although, I’m not sure why he only gets 30mpg in those cars. Sometimes smaller motors are not better since they work harder, versus a larger motor in a comparable vehicle. I know my dads 2013 beater Camry gets 35-37 on highway. My Escape with a 2.0 turbo averages 25-27 mpg. My Escape is auto 4x4, and can tow 3500 lbs...not a lot of weight I realize this, but a matrix or celica isn’t even recommended to tow anything i bet. So to say vehicles aren’t improving in mpg, isn’t necessary something I agree with. Lastly, my Escape if I pull my atv up to maine 500 miles on highway at 65-75mph, I am still at around 20mpg. I don’t have experience with older Escapes pre- Ecoboost motors, but I cannot imagine they got the mpg I see in mine. Just my thoughts. For whatever it’s worth, I guess my point here is, some vehicles have very much improved in mpg, while being very capable and still retain good mpg.

Best work class Side by Side
Bionic replied to LET EM GROW's topic in ATV's , UTV's, Dirtbikes & Snowmobiles
We run a Gator HPX615e at work, nice machine for the price. We also have a couple Toro Workman’s...overpriced in my opinion. If I were buying I would go with a Can Am Defender. I have been doing a ton of research for the past year, as I am saving for a Can Am myself. Also, in Maine its a huge sport up there, I see nothing but Can Am’s, ATVs to SXS... hardly any Polaris, etc. -
Yeaaah margaritas, and make some homemade pretzels!

Water for hunting cabin
Bionic replied to 2012_taco's topic in DIY - Do It Yourself, tutorials and videos
We are running a semi-temporary setup right now, we are solar powered, and generator powered. We have a water tank outside(temporary) that is being fed by rain water from a gutter, we have a woman’s panty hose stocking as a filter right on the end of the gutter that hangs into the tank, the top of the tank has metal screen to seal off best we can. We have low pines mainly, and do not have issues with tree debris. I believe there is another inline filter but not positive, my dad set this all up. An RV style pump is being used, along with a propane on-demand water heater. It works VERY well(runs shower/sink/toilet). Once the tank is full outside which fills pretty fast, we disconnect the gutter feed until we need to refill. We will be getting permanent water tank that is for underground set, this summer. Not sure if any of this is a help, but thought it was worth mentioning. -
Awesome thanks. I will definitely try this to a “T” what you are suggesting next time, appreciate it! I will try it with fries too, i have always heard about double frying, but never bothered to look into the correct way. With fries, my idea of double frying was fry until crisp, raise basket out if oil, let fries cool a bit, and reinsert until desired crisp(they seem to float at that point). So, can you explain once more the way you suggest I try wings, please? Do you still suggest I pre-bake the wings? If so temp, and rough time? Then do I fry once? Or twice? I wasn’t sure if you are suggesting bake/fry once as a method, or if I can fry twice withOUT pre-bake using low oil temp, then high oil temp. No rush to reply, Thanks Chef, appreciate the tips! This is fun stuff for me

Yes, absolutely. I tried convection because it seems to almost lock in the juices, when I bake burgers sometimes. I figured it would work on wings too, this was my first try. I ran 425 for a good 60-90 mins. I would try 400 if I were you for a good 60-90 mins as well, they should still look pale in color, I flipped them once as well. Then fry at 375 until desired crisp. Let me know how it goes when you try this.

Ah sorry pal! Hoping you feel better ASAP! I was excited for how tender/crispy these wings turned out, baked for about an hour, then deep fried until crispy. Hang in there!
-
These are the BEST wings that I have made to date! This is what I expect from a restaurant. Crispy exterior, with a juicy tender interior. This is the ONLY way I will make wings, from here on out. Frank’s Red hot for me, and Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce/Mild Buffalo mix for her.

Well i am not going to drag her by her hair to a creek like a neanderthal, lol.

Interesting! Thanks for the tip, i will give that a try some time too since I am already dedicated to this. Spice mixing tomorrow...

He has great recipes!

Just saw this. Of course! What kind of question is that??!! I got her license for her, and the reel, and tackle box etc, whole nine yards, definitely supporting her interest.

Have wings going. Trying some different, convection baking for awhile, then deep frying to crisp. Looking for tender chicken, with crunchy exterior. Oh! And I added Bionic’s Chicken rub...that stuff he sells.
