  1. My personal luck with American is that I've found them too expensive and unreliable. Tundras are built in good old Texas.
  2. I'll second that. Was a staunch GM/Ford guy for years, just couldn't afford the repair bills any longer. Just traded in my 2007 Tundra on a new one this past August. 138k miles, a few dents and just a little bit of rust and they still gave me $10,500 for it. Brakes, batteries, and tires is all I ever spent on it. No repairs of any kind in 12 years. Try doing that with a Ford/Dodge/GM.
  3. Got this from my better half. It replaces my 20 year old 18V Ryobi set. Handed down the still-functioning Ryobi set to one of our sons in law. Lots of tree stand work on the schedule for next summer!
  4. Merry Christmas to the greatest group of people in NY!
  5. Someone should start a poll or something.
  6. Welcome to the forum and welcome to the cold north. We're not too far from you near Savona.
  7. I seem to have put on some unwanted weight recently. I may be able to count as two..
  8. Looks like a good time was had by all - wish I could have made it!
  9. I most definitely agree. My personal ranking of what makes me look to move out at retirement; 75% Property taxes 20% Liberal laws and policies 5% Gun laws Weather isn't a reason at all for me. I'll throw in a bonus 20% that Andy said he doesn't want me here anyways. No sense in living where I'm not wanted just because of how I think. Hey, that sounds discriminatory..
  10. Cube, marinate overnight, wrap in bacon, and bake at 350 degrees until bacon is done...
  11. I didn't post this in the general chit-chat section as I'm sure this conversation will turn political. https://buffalonews.com/2018/12/19/new-yorks-population-dips-over-the-past-year/ Andy says it's because of the weather.
  12. Lol, troll much? Happened once in a million chances. The commonality is they were murdered. Murder should be banned. That would prevent all murders if I follow your logic.
  13. There is no "neg". It's proceed, deny, or delayed. If delayed, the Fed has 3 days to seek additional info. I don't think King Cuomo gets to tell a federal department how to operate and to work another 7 days on it. Just like his failed ammo background check. It's a meaningless action on his part. Outlaws don't follow laws, that's why they're outlaws. This is just another restriction on law abiding citizens.
  14. Eh, I'm torn on this. I personally have no use for bump stocks. But that said, a ban that requires you to "abandon" them? For no compensation? I guess I'd feel a little better about it if the "pre-ban" bump stocks were grandfathered in like when we had the federal AR ban. I mean how would we feel if suddenly a future president simply banned AR's and said to abandon them? Or some other accessory? Crap, it's just a piece of plastic. What about scopes? An article I just read on this said the Vegas shooter used bump stocks and <gasp> high powered scopes. How long before some nitwit in power says we don't need high powered scopes? And for anyone planning on committing bad stuff with a bump stock, I don't think this ban will stop that.
  15. The letter I saw said all new bows and Xbows are being sold without the warranty starting immediately. I'll see if I can find the letter online.
