  1. Things have to get there first. Could take years and years. I could be dead by then.
  2. Oh I didn't forget about that at all, actually the opposite as I've come to expect the glaring hypocrisy from the liberal left. But the guilty until proven innocent isn't right no matter who the accused is. Even Cuomo (as much as it galls me to say it). I'm completely consistent with what I said regarding Kavanaugh and Cuomo. All that said, I'll be organizing a carpool/caravan to Albany for anyone who wants to join me in person to slow clap Andy when the state police make him to the perp walk.
  3. Agreed. I fully expect that. I was also going to say I expect an assault weapon ban any day now - but Nomad's post above beat me to it.
  4. As far as I know it's not. But I believe there is a bill in the state assembly for that very thing.
  5. So, as much as I hate to say this, and as much as I hate Cuomo, he hasn't been found guilty of anything yet. Yet.
  6. I'm sure that if there was such a thing as a NICS check during prohibition, alcohol would have been on the form too.
  7. Accuser number 7 just came out with allegations against Cuomo. One more and we can have GTG's again. Two more and we can go to Bills games again! Reporter accuses Gov. Cuomo of sexual harassment: ‘It wasn’t about sex. It was about power’ | Fox News
  8. Well I have to say I tuned in to watch last night as I pretty much haven't missed a live, televised presidential address in 20-30 years - no matter who the president is. About 10 minutes in, I changed the channel and watched a documentary on the Korean war. Say whatever you will about Trump, but Biden is boooooooring.
  9. Wow seeing that made me nervous! I'm still ultra careful with it cause it's new and unscathed so far. I get a little uneasy 50 feet from a tree, let alone buzzing around inside. That's wild video!
  10. Wow, great info here Elmo, thanks! Especially the water info. It does have downward sensors. I did download those two apps but didn’t create an account yet. So far I’ve only flown over the back woods.
  11. Haha - I see what you did there!
  12. Love this thread! Great pics, keep them coming!
  13. It really does. And the ones I posted here are cropped and resized so they lost a little clarity. Takes 4k video too.
  14. Super easy to learn. I was flying confidently in a couple of minutes. Two joysticks do everything navigation-wise. Has pre-programmed cycles to take off and landing. It does have a return to home feature at the press of a button or automatically if it loses connection with the controller for more than a few seconds. I'm still in ultra-careful mode with it as I don't want to wreck it, but I'm looking forward to taking it out on the boat with us this summer. Probably would make some neat tubing videos! Can't get it wet though, not waterproof.
  15. True story - and my daughter will probably kill me if she saw I posted this. When oldest daughter was learning how to drive, I had an extra car - Nissan mini truck (forgot the model) that I was driving to keep miles off the full size Bronco I had at the time. Nissan was a 5-speed. After much cajoling I convinced her to try and let me teach her to drive a standard. We started off in a church parking lot and after the expected newbie jitters, she was getting the hang of getting started in first gear and shifting up. I thought she was doing OK, but she was hating every minute of it and not hiding the fact. I convinced her to take it on the road. She was nervous as hell, but I kept telling her that she was doing great - she really was doing pretty well for the first day of trying it. The first intersection she came to, she started well but stalled it in the middle of the intersection. It was a quiet suburb of Rochester, but it was a busy time of day - horns honking, and somebody was yelling to get out of the way. She started bawling and GOT OUT OF THE CAR AND STARTING JOGGING HOME! Somehow after that, when she got her license, she was driving my Bronco (with an automatic) and I got stuck with the rustbox Nissan.
  16. This is my worry, already had a couple of crows swoop by to check it out.
  17. Run time is 25-30 minutes per battery. Range is a few miles but FAA requires you maintain VLOS (visual line of sight). They bought me the fly more kit which adds extra props, 3 batteries and a better charging system along with a case. I bought a hard sided case to protect it better. They also bought DJI's insurance policy which gets me up to two replacement drones (deductible applies) if something goes wrong like a fly away or if it crashes due to drone error. I think the insurance policy was maybe $100? I say "they" picked it, but one daughter is now a certified drone instructor for the Fed, and that's what she bought for herself. I'd say that's a good source of advice. The big thing about this drone is that it weighs less than 250 grams which means you don't need a federal drone license to operate it. Amazon link to the kit they picked is below Amazon.com : DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo – Ultralight Foldable Drone, 3-Axis Gimbal with 4K Camera, 12MP Photos, 31 Mins Flight Time, OcuSync 2.0 10km HD Video Transmission, QuickShots, Gray : Camera & Photo
  18. Google says.. 18 In general, one must be an adult (18 or older) to obtain an insurance policy on their own. If you are under 18, and thus still considered a minor, then normally state laws and insurance companies guidelines will require you to have a parent or guardian sign on legal documents, such as an insurance policy, with you.
  19. Cashing in on acreage that is under utilized?
