  1. This is great comedy watching you guys fire Early up!
  2. Great Buck!! Did you hit the Femoral Artery? Most muzzle deer don't just drop.
  3. Very similar racks but you can see the first deer looking back in the second pic. Very nice body size on the second guy for a 1.5 yr old buck
  4. The smoke pole is just waiting for its chance to bark!!
  5. About to head down to Belmont, NY (9p) for an afternoon sit, and an all day hunt tomorrow. Corn below us was just cut, so lets hope they start pounding the hardwoods again. Anybody got a snow report for down that way. Last I looked only a few inches.
  6. What happens if you rest the barrel vs. the forearm when sighting in?
  7. I was just wondering if you sight in a shotgun or rifle with a scope freehand vs. placed in a rest will this change the point of impact when you shoot the opposite way that the gun was sighted in? For instance...you go to the range, sight in your shotgun at 50 yards and put together a 2 inch group 1 inch high of the bulls eye while placed in a rest. Then go to the field and shoot from your tree stand freehand with no rest.
  8. Much Artic Boots are great. Durable as hell, deff. wont split after a season.
  9. Where on the body did you shoot him??
  10. I shoot a Ripcord red and love it! 80.00 shipped on ebay
  11. Rip cord red drop away rest, this thing is rock solid.
  12. I have a copper John dead nutz sight. The thing is rock solid and I am very happy with it......but not happy to hear they wont stand behind there cheaper sights. It is my train of thought that if you put your name on it you owe the paying customer a good product.
  13. You can shoot all day at a bag, but totally different view when presented with a 3d target for practice. Dial your bow in on a bag, and practice, practice and practice some more on a 3d target as much as possible. You may only get one shot in the field, make it count. Also look for 3d shoots in your area. They are all over this time of year. This way you pay 10-15 bucks and shoot 15-30 targets and you wont have to invest 100.00 on your own 3d deer.
  14. They sell arrow lube that works great.
  15. Joe... What type of bow are you shooting?? if your lucky a cheap fix for the DL is a module, but most bows you'll need to swap out the cam. Wish ya luck buddy..you'll notice a huge difference with the correct DL
  16. Not sure if you want to go the .22 route right now. If you plan on shooting often and dont have a good amout stock piled good luck finding it.
  17. Cableas has some 33 gr Remmys in 22lr. 8.99 for a box of 100. Wow!
  18. Any leads where to buy bulk .22lr ammo? Looking for 40 gr. CCI, but will take any at this point..
  19. Deff a sweet camera. Is there zoom? I saw alot of kids skiing with them today mounted to their helmets. I am guessing they will be ok on the cold.
  20. I still ove the part of the aticle that says they intentionally aim for the HIP....have of us wish we could hit a running yote in the hip!!
  21. "If they see the coyote run across the road or across a field, they will try to cripple it with a shot to the hip." Thats a darn good shot hitting a runing Yote in the Hip......
  22. I am not totally sure if they are creep resistant....they have a shorter valley like the Athens Ibex and when the shooter relaxes the bow wants to go. The elite and Athens I believe are a very similar bows and this creep issue is very common
