  1. Is there a requirement in NY for poundage?, distance between cams? Or can you just use any crossbow on the market today?
  2. Property 1 is 100 acres and has 6 box blinds, 2 ladder stands and 2 elevated platform stands. Property 2 is 50 acres and has 2 hang-ons, 2 two man ladder stands, 1 elevated platform stand, and 4 one man ladder stands.
  3. There will be a major headline during hunting season about someone being harassed for having yellow tags...the writing is on the wall!
  4. http://www.evansrodgunclub.com/events.asp Look at Evans Rod and Gun clubs calendar.....maybe there are some openings.
  5. Put an add on craigslist early June next year and I am sure you will save yourself some pain and a whole lot of time. There are plenty of guys out there with trailers and all the equipment looking to make some extra cash to pay off the high dollar investments they made into their tractors and equipment.
  6. Word has cards for some reason are sent out at random.....No paper license for my wife's lifetime fishing license....just a card.
  7. If you spoke with a manager they most likely would honor the sale prices that start tomorrow. We were going that route with the cabinet until he pulled the trigger on a safe.
  8. Stopped over there today and was very pleased with the selection and availability of products. My Dad was looking at a Stack On cabinet and we started talking with a Liberty rep and next thing you know my Dad decides to purchase a 12 gun liberty safe and the rep hands him a 25.00 gift card and says enjoy the rest of the day. The bigger safes were on sale, so he tossed us the gift card because the smaller one wasn't. On a side note it seems like some clothes are mis-marked for price....My wife picked up a new fleece marked 79.99 and it rand up 49.99.
  9. My Dad tried earlier today as well, the town clerk explained she get him everything but DMP's and he kindly declined until the full system was up and running.
  10. Hip quiver and arrow lube go a long way as well at a 3D shoot. Good set of binos are key, only a matter of inches between an X an 10 ring!
  11. Is she carrying a deer head in the second pic??
  12. How do you cook your smallmouth?
  13. What are the arrow specs? Was this every arrow you shot?? or just one in particular?
  14. A winter muzzle loader league sounds like fun.....Is it a course set-up like a 3d archery league where you walk through the woods and shoot from different stations?
  15. They are free if you buy a lifetime license now....and probably an arm and a leg if you are already a lifetime license holder.
  16. My wife uses a .30-.30 and loves it. The recoil is fine with a hunting jacket on.
  17. Not sure if the boom let go...the earlier reports were that all the ice was blowing over the top. I just cant understand why they have allowed anyone on the 90 east or west since this storm started....All reports last night said it was closed and then when I woke up this morning I heard you could travel on the free sections between the 290 and William St. exits?? Now there are reports of huge pile ups east near Rochester....Didn't they install those emergency closure gates for a reason after the last huge mishap on the 90 where everyone was stuck??
  18. Still getting dumped with wind in snow in Lakeview, NY(Hamburg) When the wife and I woke up around 6:30 it was -6 degrees and now has warmed up to a balmy -3degrees. I was outside for a 5 minutes shoveling a spot for the dog to do her business and those wind gusts will eat you alive!! With the combo of wind and snow all the houses in my neighborhood look like igloos!
  19. My dad runs a Primos Blackout.... Easy to use and takes nice pictures.
  20. Getting Dumped on in Lakeview Right now. Wind is wreaking havoc on garbage cans and Christmas ornaments that people have outside still.
  21. I also heard that your sporting licenses will be linked to your drivers license....I am guessing there will be a fee with this option.
  22. Holiday Valley is as good as it gets in the Northeast. Variety of trails and great lodges. Bring plenty of money if you plan on eating or drinking at the lodges...of course they drive the price way up. You can also pack a cooler and leave it in the car or stash it in a lodge near the dining areas. Helps the pocket book a little when you brown bag a lunch. If you get your ski legs under you quick enough there is a run that takes you right to Burger King! Deff. save a few bucks eating off the dollar menu. Enjoy the Day, imo there is no other better winter activity!!
  23. Jeremy K....which Dick's had the descent straps?
