  1. There were a ton of apples but the trees by my house are old so they are already falling off and by the end of the month i dont see there being many apples left. So i will enjoy watching these bucks while i can and hopefully come fall they will still be around and we will get a shot at arrowing one of them. John
  2. I was upstate last week and had these guys about 20 ft out my kitchen window eating all the apples that are falling off the trees. I saw a total of 13 different bucks out there within 3 day. Man they love them apples. John
  3. My brother and i will be filming all season. We are using two cameras the sony fx7 for main footage and the canon hf200 for second angle. We use the muddy arm and i am going to be picking up a 3rd arm mini xl for second angles and for when i am by myself. I CANT WAIT for OCT 1st lol. John
  4. Yea i would agree probbaly about 2 weeks of growing left but they shouldnt really get much bigger than they are now. Nice looking bucks. John

  8. Looks like come fall you will have one awesome place to hunt!!! John
  9. Dave we didnt add any lime or fertilizer even though we probably should have. The plot used to be an old cow pasture so from them doing there thing in there over the years the soil is actually really good for planting. At least that is what my uncle told me who owns the farm lol. John
  10. Looks like it could be the same deer but im really not sure. I def dont think that the last pic is a bobcat. Looks like a house cat to me. John
  11. The disc is from my uncles farm it was orginally 3 pieces that size but we broke it down to one piece so we can use it with the quad. The disc works awesome but the ground has to be perfect for using it. If its too wet the quad wont pull it and if its too dry it doesnt break through. It was all done with our quads and a hand seeder. Here is some video my brother took with his phone. My brother made the roller out of a culvert pipe and filled it with cement. Seems to work pretty good. John John
  12. 2011 Food plot we worked on a food plot about a month ago and got everything prepared for planting. I went up and checked on it last weekend and it seems to be coming in nicely. A few bare spots but we are going to fill it in with either alfalfa or clover. John
  13. Awesome pics Dave!!! Im thinking about getting a new Digital Camera. What type do you use? John
  14. LOL black panther huh.. Fantail the first two pics are in 4r and the second two are in 4s. I dont think the wild pigs made their way that far east yet so im almost certain it is a cub. John
  15. lol i was thinking the same thing when i saw the pic but I'm pretty sure its a bear cub. John
  16. Here are a few pics that we got over the past few weeks. John

  21. I use the bucket trap in my house upstate for mice and it works like a charm. Everytime i go up i have a few mice in the bucket and dont find droppings all over the house anymore like i used to . I use the soda can with penut butter on a spindle and the put water and a little anitfreeze (to keep the smell away) in the bucket. I am also thinking about putting one in my garage up there to try and thin the heard in there also lol. John
  22. Congrats guys on some nice birds. John
