My friend missed him and the guys in the next property got him a few weeks later.

Yea supposed to be windy all week. I don't think it brothers the deer to much though. Was out today and saw 5 different bucks. 3 8s a big six and a spike. I also saw a ton of does in the morning but it was quiet in the afternoon. I ended up passing up a nice 8 under my stand waiting for the bigger one to come by that he was with and got skunked. I also saw a real nice buck come flying through at 11 chasing a doe and then they came back through at 2. he was on her real good and there was no way I was calling him off. I videoed the two 8s and the first one is the one i had under the stand the second one is the one i was trying to shoot

I was out last week for the entire week. I had the most unbelievable week of hunting ever. Missed two bucks in one day an 8 pointer and a 10 pointer due to arrow deflections and saw some monster deer as well as ten different bucks in one day on an all day sit. One I'm guessing was in the 160's and the other in the 150s. I managed to score on a decent 8 pointer but i can't get the two monsters i saw off my mind. Im off again this week and will be hunting the island mon tues and wed. Then i will be heading upstate for a few days for the opener of gun season. Good luck out there guys!!! Been hunting since Saturday and I have seen the most buck movenent from 11 to 2. Then it dies down and starts to pickup around 4. Bucks will start crusing for does in their bedding areas around that time. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I sat all day on the 4th. Saw 10 bucks and missed and 8 and a 10. Both arrow delelfelctions. Spot is very thick but I really found a honey hole. Going back tomorrow. Shot one last night a nice 8 but I stil have my gun tag left. This is on long island Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I saw two different pics of this buck on Facebook with two different people holding it. i also heard it was shot hit by a car in Greene county lol. I'm not believing anything i hear about this one. Too many rumors going around. John

i use the muddy harness. Its about 100 bucks and it is light and easy to use and its like you dont even know you are wearing it. Best one i have used so far. John

I hunt in both of those areas. Was out the first two weekends and saw a lot of does but didnt see any bucks. Havent been back since as i have been hunting the island. I will be hunting 4r the opening weekend of rifle season. This season was the worst i have had for trailcam pics also up in those area and didnt get many big bucks all summer on the cams. John
