Its true geno. I wasn't happy at first but now guys can't shoot 5 bucks legally on the island anymore which hopefully will lead to more and bigger bucks in the years to come. John

I have been getting more bears than bucks on my cams this year in Greene County. Over the past few seasons where i hunt i honestly feel like i have a better chance of shooting a bear than a mature buck which sucks b/c i really have no interest in shooting a bear. John

Still think the ASAT 3d suit would be better on the ground. Just my opinion John

I agree on the predator fall grey it is great camo if you are in the tree. But i think since he said he is going to be hunting the ground that ASAT is def the better option. John

If you will be hunting the ground i would go with ASAT 100%. I have the 3d suit and it works awesome and you can wear whatever you want underneath. John

Last year I don't think they started the check in process until mid November. I remember seeing a sign at one of the parking spots saying so. Hopefully they will do the same this year so you don't have to worry about checking in and out during the best part of the season. John -
I also know they will grow more. Prob not the frames but point will def gain some more inches. Its only mid July I would think they have at least until mid august to finish growing. I would be happy with either of them bucks just the way they are now though Lol. John

I have a summit and lone wolf the summit is def more comfortable but the line wolf is quieter to setup and lighter. I feel like I'm siting in a hang on when in my lonewolf. I can sit in it for probably 4 hours before I get Ansy Lol.

I have the hand climber and it is light easy to setup and climb with. I also bought the seat strap which I really like. I would def recommend lone wolf stands!!! John

If you can only go for one week I would def pass. Way too much money for one week of hunting in my opinion. John

Sounds pretty expensive to me for 6 days. I went on my first out of state hunt last year and spent about 700 total. We hunted Ohio state land and saw some real great bucks. I made a bad shot on a nice 9 pointer which I'm still kicking myself about and my buddy hit a branch on a 150" ten pointer. We stayed in his camper at a campground and had a great time. Good luck wherever you go!!! John

Yea I have to go back to doctor on thursday and then I should be able to take the sling off and start moving it. Not sure if I'm going to need physical therapy yet or not. I'll see how things go in the next week. I already feel about 75% better than I did this morning. Heading upstate now with my brother and just going to take it easy this weekend and watch him cut the grass lol. Thanks for all the kind words!!

Day 2 painnnn. Just took some pain meds which I was Hoping I wasn't going to have to do but pain was pretty bad. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. John

I'm going in for shoulder surgery today at 10:00. Have a partial rotator cuff tear and a large calcium deposit. Not looking forward to it and I really hope I will be able to shoot my bow by fall. Doctor says about two months I should be back to normal and I really hope that's true!!! John
