i get more bears than bucks on my cameras in 4r. Not really interested in shooting one this year but im going to take a buddy out and set him up in a good spot and film for him. Have a real good watering hole that they visit every 2 days or so. Just hope one shows up. I saw 3 different bears in one day during turkey season in the same area also. I don't think there will be that many guys out that it will affect bow season too much. John

Ill have slick trick magnums and rage hypodermic's in my quiver this year. Two of each. Used to use the rage originals and have had great luck with them over the years. Just got tired of them opening so easily but that problem is fixed now with the shock collar. Been shooting the slick tricks all summer and they have been flying really well. I did have to tune my rest a little bit but now they are hitting the same place as my field points. Haven't tried out the hypodermics yet but ill pick up a pack soon and shoot them a few times before the season to make sure they are hitting same as my field points. John

I would say right now its between the mucks and the Lacrosse AeroHead's. Both excellent boots if you are looking for high boots. Not really sure about regular boots but i bought a pair of field and stream boots from dicks last year and they are the most comfortable boots i have ever owned. I tried on every boot they had and the field and streams were the most comfortable. Thanks!! Slowed down in April and only got out two more times but i did get 7 more including a real nice 4 point side and my first hanger shed ever. Hanger shed That brings my count up to 32 for the year and my personal best. Maybe find another one or two during turkey season but if i don't ill still be happy where im at for the year. Even though Andre is not there any longer lone wolfs are still the best stands on the market. It kind bothers me that they started xop and are selling the same exact stand even if he did have the idea for it. Just doesn't seem right to me. I have both a hand climber and recently purchased an assault and they are both awesome stands. John

Suspension is awesome. It's like riding on air. I have used it to disc my plot for a few years now with no problems at all. If you saw the disc I use you would think I'm crazy Lol. Its an old tractor disc that we broke apart and use one of the three parts. Its heavy but the quad pulls it like nothing.

Dow here on long island I mostly hike DEC and parklands properties which gives me access to thousands of acres to look. Always find most of my antlers in thick stuff or oak flats. Good luck!!

Thanks Sam!! I had another great day on Tuesday and found 7 more for the day including my new biggest to date. Also went out on sat and got two more. Sat Finds I'm heading back out tomorrow and i hope to get a few more good ones. I think this might be my last weekend really looking.
