  1. I use the original rages with the razor tip and have never lost a deer yet that i shot. Most of them only went about 40 yards and the blood trails and holes were incredible. I figure if you can use broadhead that will make a huge hole why not. People that see what a rage does to the deer that i shoot almost always end up switching. John
  2. I still go out and roost birds if i am up there the evening before. Last year was a terrible year for me for turkeys but hopefully this year will be better. I haven't been able to get up there to scout this year but there are always a few toms running around the farm that i hunt. I'm off the 6th-10th from work this year and i cant wait to get up there. John
  3. Lol i cant believe this thread is still going if you like it watch it if not don't its pretty simple. I didn't think these guys looked like the best bunch of hunters. Some of the shots didn't look good to me and i would go crazy with the smoking but i'm going to continue to watch just for some laughs and entertainment. John
  4. No problem it looks like a real great place to get trees from. My friend and i are splitting a box of 50 in about 2 weeks so i will let you guys know how it works out. John
  5. Hey guys, not sure if anybody knows about this site but i found it through the Fitzgerald s on Facebook. Seems like a great operation they are running and the price doesn't seem bad at all. Its $175 shipped for 50 4 year old pine trees. I'm going to split a box of 50 with my friend and use them to hide a new food plot that we are working on. Just thought i would pass it along to anybody interested in getting some pine trees for planting. http://evergreensforhunters.com/ John
  6. Not that i disagree with any of the others replies but i would still just invest the money and buy the Asat 3d suit. You can use it for turkey and deer and coyote and wear whatever you want underneath to be comfortable whether its hot or cold out. John
  7. Asat is def way to go. Just get the 3d suit and you will be good to go. John
  8. I agree these guys are a bunch of idiots. John
  9. I still say 5.5 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! J/K i guess i was off by a year. John
  10. I have a pair of Asat Ultimate pants in Large for sale. They are in good condition. The only problem with these pants are that one of the small black wast tighteners is missing. I never used that anyway as i always used a belt with these pants. $85 TYD and i accept Paypal. Broken wait tightner really dosent affect anything Thanks, John

First time out i found two antlers one old and one fresh one. then a few weeks later i was out again and i found a few more. http://s226.beta.photobucket.com/user/mbucks27/media/2013%20shed%20hunting/IMG_2674_zps793679e5.jpg.html?sort=6&o=14 http://s226.beta.photobucket.com/user/mbucks27/media/2013%20shed%20hunting/IMG_2676_zpse615887b.jpg.html?sort=6&o=12 John
  15. Ford that chart doesn't seem to be right at all. It says there is only 6" out east on LI when i know there is still almost 2ft of snow out there. John
  16. The lines were crazy last night. I didn't even wait i have 3/4 of a tank and i couldn't see myself waiting online to fill up. Its only snow and it will be in the 40's by Sunday. I guess Sandy really scared people and everybody wants to be prepared now. John

  19. Yea there is a ton of does around but its long island lol. Dom your right some of these bucks do look skinny but i guess its from running around for the last few months fighting and chasing does. I'm just waiting for them to start dropping antlers so i can hopefully find a few. only got one pic so far of a buck with one side gone. John
  20. Checked the camera on Friday and the bucks are still hitting the scrape. I cant believe they are still interested and its February already. Also had a ton of does and smaller bucks in the scrape as well. John

  22. Great video Bro. I know its not easy self filming but you are getting pretty good at it!!! Cant wait to hunt that spot next year during the rut and see what comes through. John
  23. sorry i didn't reply sooner. i have been filming all season but then in mid dec my arm broke and by then i was really hunted out so i stopped filming. I just ordered the new piece for my arm and will be filming next year like usual. Even if i had the camera it happend so fast i wouldnt have been able to get it on film anyway. My brother filmed his hunt and posted it on here it came out real good. John
