Thanks. I checked it out online and it based in usage. My needs are small - cabin, single bedroom and bath with no W/D.

I was about 100' away on my deck. The crash shook me and all the hair on my arms stood up. Then the smell of ozone hit me. Closest I ever been to lightning. I have no idea how people survive a strike. Now I'm faced with the task of bringing it down, but that split looks dangerous as hell. I may have an excavator friend push it over with a dozer.

I did a test at the county and it showed positive for total coliform. That could a number of things, but I figure it's time to rectify. Thanks. Viqua comes up a bit and I'll check them out. Stupid question, but is 8GPM what the well produces or your usage/need?

Do you have a brand recommendation? Size? I already have a particulate filter but I see that some of the units come with two pre filters (particulate and charcoal) before the UV. Not sure I have the room for all that in my utility closet.

One fewer after lightning hit this the other day.

Has anyone put a UV filter in? My cabin is spring fed and while I don't drink the water, I'd like to improve the overall system. Looking online is a little overwhelming with options. Thanks.

Recombinant nanoparticles ... isn't that how Skynet happened?

How are its magnetizing properties?

There are plenty of free online editing programs? Do you have a mac or iphone? Use imovie. Android? PS express, snapseed, lightroom will work.

The ka-bars are great. The all-in-one-swiss-army utensil thing, not so much. Never knew they were called "hobo knives". I do have a few old hobo nickels around somewhere.

My parents bought me on for my first camping trip in the '60s. I remember being confused about how to cut my meat with the fork and knife at the same time.

Why not? Despite the actual CF that Trump was, there were some good decisions made in both the current and prior administrations to facilitate and deliver the vaccines. I'm a fair guy.

That will have an effect, but overall minor when measured against the wave of enthusiasm that is sweeping the city. Midtown aside, I've never seen it busier. It's funny, last March/April I was predicting doom and gloom (mostly due to a sense of my own mortality and being in the city) and Biz was laughing and calling me a downer as he was predicting we'll be open by Easter. Now after an unprecedented vaccine rollout, a better understanding of transmission, and much better protocol for treatment, and I feel optimistic. YMMV.

I wish. One BBQ place, fish restaurant, noodle joint and “chicken in a cup” whatever the hell that is. The rumors of NYC’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.

In my neighbourhood, two restaurants closed and four opened up last year. The city is buzzing with activity.

These are elk, right?

I called the NYPD registry office a few years ago and was told they need to be registered. But the woman I was talking with had no idea what a ML was and may have just defaulted to "all long guns need to be registered". Sorry I don't have a better answer.

And the WB. Sounds like it could be a deal.

Deer movement advice on a large clear cut

Those are grouse, Bill. I am concerned that she abandoned them. I first saw them a few weeks ago when I spooked her, but she wasn't there the other day when I passed nearby and took the pic. I think it's a 28 day incubation and we're close. -

I was a little surprised as it seems pretty exposed, but I guess she knows what she's doing. -

Updating this. After a week or more of clearing that hill last year to encourage new growth (and animals), I came across this recently. It was worth the back-breaking work. -
From what I can gather: Hydrate before and after/no OTC drugs unless needed after the shot/light exercise routine post shot may also help. I had no issues with either shot other than a slightly sore injection point.

Have a great day.

Thanks, all.
