1. Welcome back to NY. From the Bronx but don't really turkey or waterfowl hunt.
2. So sorry to hear about your loss.
3. It's a compelling case for that. There's also a tougher strategy when it doesn't reset. Makes you think twice about burning your waiver priority on a fringe player. When a team has Saquan Barkley go down with a season ending injury but they had enter the week in the middle of the pack. Their lost that week drop them down to 9th. Clearly they need to pick up someone bad but are only 3rd in the order for no reason that is in their control. At least the waivers not resetting is based on your control. Stop burning it on fringe players. I made the poor gamble on Benny Snells. Thought Conner would be out longer at the very least and probably get Wally Pipp'ed. Instead, Conner came back the very next week.
4. Fair enough. I actually know someone who (friend of a friend) who had 2 girls, aborted when she found out the 3rd was also a girl, simply because she wanted to add a boy to the mix. That should not come out of governments pockets. Just a FYI: In this particular case, based on their wealth, it most likely either came out of insurance or own pockets.
5. A drunk person is also not in their right state of mind but we don't call them crazy now do we? And maybe the farmers is a poor analogy as city slickers being a consumer of farmers products does have a bit of a indirect impact than purely a moral one but non-gun owners voting on gun control versus a bunch of men vote on abortion is not the same.
6. Carbon Fiber. johnplav - pliers worked. Thanks. Yeah, they were the only ones near me to pick up their phones. Others had advised me not to go there afterwards as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
7. Funny...true...but 90% chance they probably pronounced his name incorrectly. There is no "r" in Asian languages. That's why we have such a hard time pronouncing "white rice".
8. And they didn't even have to close down the country. Heck not, even the entire province (state). If they would had done a complete lock down of NYC and Mt Vernon, this would had been over in end of June and the folks up in Buffalo and Rochester would had never had to shut down at all.
9. They went into a full and complete lock down immediately with extensive testing and contact tracing. They have not had a single positive case since May. Now they are enjoying the fruits of their sacrifice. Something we should have done but we didn't.
10. Great way to ridicule rape victims. No...they have not gone "crazy". They are in a state of shock and depression. They are not making any decisions so therefore won't be able to take the morning after pill. Even after the initial shock subsides, they might be dealing with the moral dilemma of the child being both theirs but also a product of someone who they despise. My point is that you and I have never been in such a situation nor will we ever be so why is it up to us to tell them what they must choose? Its almost like having city slickers decide how farmers should handle nuisance animals. Shouldn't only farmers and wildlife officials have a say in that decision?
11. Does not. Seems like he glued them tight.
12. Point is you expect them to make a rational decision the very next morning.
13. How many rape victims have you spoken right after they've been raped? Since she works for the hospital, my wife volunteered for several years for DOVE. She would be called in to speak to console rape victims and victims of domestic violence before the police are allow to question the victim. They are in such a state of shock. She tries her best to get them to make a statement. Less than 20% report the crime to the police.
14. I normally head north. I'm by the Hudson River. Crossing the Cross Bronx is a headache. I shoot up the Saw Mill or 87. You're good in Queens because you can head East or cross Throgs Neck and link up on the Hutchinson.
15. Bronx resident pretty much all my life. There are several NYC peeps in here. It can be done.
16. @dbHunterNY - After flinging about 60 arrows, I found a comfortable anchor point and got the groups tighter. its now down to the arrows. I noticed when the guy cut my arrows, the nocks doesn't line up the vanes with the whisker biscuits exactly.
17. Blue Mountain was PACKED today! Never seen it like this. Brand new arrows and switching to a 3 (or 4?) finger release. Threw my anchor points off. Will need a lot of tuning or keep everything 30 yards or under. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
18. Aaron effing Jones?!?!? 43+ points? I’m glad I bring out the best in everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
