Can't ship ammo to New york?
Elmo replied to jim335's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Not all of NYC but most of it. Its based on zip codes and I'm lucky enough that I live in one of the zip codes that's not blocked. -
In 2012, in a historic movement, Killer Whales wins the right to vote. Shamu becomes the largest president in the history of the United States and declares war on Elephant Seals. Elephant Seals march up and down San Francisco in protest. Riots break out throughout the Pacific Coast.

Question is what's the parents role in all of this? The parents were obviously not very involved in her life.

Here's my master. She is absolutely useless as a hunting dog. Heck, she's absolutely useless in general but I didn't pick her, she picked me so I'm a slave to her.

Back in college, I bought the Tickle Me Elmo doll as a Christmas gift for my niece. On the way back, I stop by the fraternity house I was pledging and accidentally left it there. The next day the bros found it and assigned me that nickname and it stuck ever since. They used it so much (and since it's an actually name) some people in college actually thought that was my real name.

I've never had a tick bite my entire life and I hike and camp here and there and this fall I've been bitten 3 times. Strange year.

I liked the Dorito's commercial of the missing cat and of course, the GIANTS WINNING!!!

Yeah, I figure. Then again, my little 12 lbs dog can't crap anything close to that size.
-
Btw, it was suppose to say "DON'T worry about what other people are doing.". That's a typo on my part.

It also depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Most guys get sucked into the lifting heavy weights fad but if you're looking to get toned, ripped, and fit, it's more about light weights, high repetition with proper form. The trainer I use to see was a backup middle linebacker for Miami Univerity. It cracks me up when you see these big chubby guys struggling while trying to lift hundreds of pounds at the gym and he comes, 240 lbs of pure muscle and he's sitting there curling 20 lbs weights. One of the best things he told me is that "you're going to the gym to do put in work not to compete against other people there. To worry about what other people are doing. Everyone's body is different and everyone has a different agenda."

Coyote scat? Big coyote or average size?

I read her book. Decent book but I wasn't in love with it. She doesn't talk as much about the hunt itself. Rather, she focuses more on the people, the culture, and the food.

How much will it take?
Elmo replied to Skillet's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I agree. But to add to that, it's also up to the government. I think government should increase efforts to prevent guns from falling into the wrong hands instead of banning guns altogether. Example: How does putting a 5 round magazine limit on NYC remove an illegal assault weapon from a criminal's hand? -

I signed up with the NRA as a life member and plan to actively participate in elections/voting. I try to promote gun ownership and try to represent gun owners as best as I can by being a model citizen. I think that's the best we can do. -

I've been had enough but I'm going to leave it to the politicians. You have to be realistic here. I don't have children yet but I certainly don't want my kids growing up without their father because I made a stance like I'm Johnny Rambo in "First Blood". Please don't get me wrong, I love my guns and I'm sure there are those here that love theirs more than I do mine but at the same time, there are other priorities in life and just because some people put those priorities higher on their list doesn't mean they don't stand behind their belief of the second amendment. -

What do you suggest we do? -
Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership's motto speaks for itself: "Guaranteeing you a place to hunt and fish." If protecting public land to hunt and fish isn't awesome enough for you to donate, you also get a free gift depending on the size of your donation. I got this great buck knife with the TRCP initials on it for my donation. Check them out. http://www.trcp.org/

I've been preparing for this for some time now. What's the bag limit on zombies?

What the heck is going on in Harrisburg?

Shawn, have you gone outside the last couple of days? I think you pulled a Rip Van Winkle because it's May already.

I'm on and off. If I catch a good one, I'll fly through it. If I get stuck with a boring one, it'll take me months. The Day by Day and Hunger Games Trilogies are all really short books. Unlikely Frendships and War Horse is also only like 140 pages.

I was going to explore some Putnam (DEP Watershed land and/or California Hill) areas that I've been been to before.
