When you stop working out, you burn through less calories so you should consume less. The act of stopping your work out is instant where as your body has to re-adjust and that is not instant. If you're eating 3000 calories a day and you're burning off 1000 from working out, your net is 2000 calories. The moment you stop working out, your body still feels it needs 3000 calories at first so when you only eat 2000 calories, you're going to feel hungry. A lot of people still continue to eat 3000 calories as if they're still working out when they're not.

The closest I came was watching two does run away 200 plus yards from me. But. I got my old brother, my girlfriend, and my niece to take the hunters education course. Bought my niece a recurve bow and she's now been practicing with it. Met 6 new hunters and 1 who is planning to start next year. Actually hunted with 5 of them. A few of which I keep regular contact with. I'd say I had a really good, productive season. So many people talk about how it isn't about the kill but rather spending time in the woods, spending time with family and friends, meeting new people, and promoting the sport. I wonder how many people have actually done every bit of that?

These pros you speak of...do they look like muscle bount wrestlers who have no neck and biceps are so big they can't reach back to wipe their own ass or do they look like professional scocer players. Because, frankly, I don't mind wiping my own ass.

Is there any food that will help add an inch? Cuz you know us guys...we never complain about having an extra inch......to our biceps. I don't know what you pervs were thinking about.

You and I are pretty much the same built. I'm 5'8" and 175 lbs. 10 years ago I was able to eat whatever I want and still be at 145 lbs with 5% body fat. Then age kicked in, metabolism slowed down, and I jumped to 175 and 16% body fat. I went back to the gym but my progress leveled off so I turned to a friend of mine who's a personal trainer and he set me on the right path. I was able to get back down to 160 lbs and 10% body fat last year but this past year involved a lot of beer drinking and down right laziness. I haven't been to the gym since April and haven't ran since end of July. Needless to say, I'm back to 175 lbs and 12% body fat. All this talk is giving me a little more motivation to get back to the gym.

Geno, I'll add to your statement. A normal healthy athletic person only needs 35 grams of protein per day to which, yes, you can get in your normal meals, easily. You can get your 35 grams in one serving of steak. Sure, competitive body builders need more protein and their bodies are accustomed to it over time. Those protein shakes are only important if you're not getting enough protein in your system through your daily food intake. Otherwise it's just a gimmick. If your body isn't accostumed to the exess amount of protein then the extra doesn't get processed and comes out the other end of your digestive system. At 5'7" and 170 lbs, Geno doesn't need more than 35 grams. The building muscle to lose fat does have some truth to it. The more muscle mass you have, the higher your BMI. In simple terms, BMI is basically the amount of food you need to eat to maintain your current shape, not lose, not gain. If you increase your BMI but don't increase your food intake then essentially you're dieting. With more muscle, you burn more fat in the for the same activity if everything else stays equal.

The Patroit are listed as 3 point favorites. Exactly where the Giants wants them. Everyone keeps listing the Giants as underdogs all the while, the Giants already knocked the 2 best teams (SF and Green Bay) out of the playoffs.
-
I don't want to jinx it but I really think the Giants are the best and most complete team left in the playoffs and who ever comes out of the NFC Championship is taking the super bowl.

I'm guessing it's actually going to be a Super Bowl rematch with Baltimore. -
I too prefer the 22 head shot as well. Whole lot more fun.

Easiest way is to connect your iPod touch to your computer then copy the picture over to your computer and upload it from there.

Wait, what? There's more than one? I thought like the Lochness Monster, there's only one in existance.

Anyone ever have to use your pistol in a real life situation?

I've been held up at gun point on several occasions during my youth growing up in poorer neighborhoods of NYC. Thankfully, a round was never fired in my direction. -
I plan on purchasing this gun for the upcoming Tyranasaurus Rex season.

Sorry to hear about your dog. =(

People can promote and demote any religion they want and in their private property or open forum. A public school is, however, considered a government building and if a government building promotes or demotes any particular religion then it is violating the 1st amendment. I know this because I use to work for a government institution and we couldn't have a Christmas party. To compromise, we had a "holiday party" which consisted of christmas, hanukkah, and kwanzaa themes. -

I meant to say I do NOT run with a dog but I couldn't edit my original post for some reason. Thanks for the advice though. Looks like without a dog, it's a shot in the dark...no pun intended.

Hey allblue, welcome to the site. Been thinking of getting into coons myself but I do run with dogs. Any advice you can give? Like how to spot an active coon den? Thanks!
