I've been floating the idea of going with a three or four finger release for a couple of years now. But I hear some stories of accidental discharge from them which concerns me.

20 posts and not a single one has anything to do with hunting. Just sayin'...

Never tried it. Wife has always talked about possibly going down to New Orleans for Halloween one day. If/when it ever does happen, I'll definitely try to squeeze in a quick hunt while there.

@Biz-R-OWorld Be careful, both my kids came early. First one by 2 weeks and second one by 5 days.

Real question is what's the goal for being here? We all have to ask ourselves that. I first started here to learn about hunting. Then it was to talk about hunting since most of my friends don't hunt so they can't relate and share the bit of knowledge I do have with some of the newbies. I've even taken some of them out into the woods. Then as I met, shared a drink, and gone on a few hunts with the fellas here, it's for general chit chat with some of these people. But if you don't really talk about hunting...you're not sharing or contributing towards hunting...and when the metaphorical hand is presented to you, you refuse to shake it. So again, what do you get out of it? That's just my curiosity. Still, whatever you do is your business. It bother me none. I speed read the first sentence or so and then just scroll right by. You're free to post whatever you want. I'm free to not read it. Even Growie who use to annoy the heck out of me with her constantly using the first 3 words of her 1st sentence as the title when the rules specifically states that your title has to accurately describe the content didn't prevent me from maintaining a peaceful interaction with her.

I think the almost 4000 acres lot contributes to the price tag. How many tree stands would you need for that?

An old co-worker of mine had it done. I a policy normally where I don't become facebook friends with people at work when we still work together. While we weren't really that close, we did become facebook friends afterwards. Turns out he's a bit of a gun nut and hits the range often. All those years together and I never knew. He seems to do fine based on his postings of his range activities. He's not a hunter and doesn't shoot the bow.

And also have the same goals and chasing the same deer. Saying you're a better hunter than someone else is like saying you relax better than someone else. There is no real way you can compare one hunter to another.

Rendon has always lead the league in doubles. Just with the juice ball movement, some of those doubles started turning into home runs.

You know I'd hate to miss out on any UPS, hunter orange safety, combined antler scores, and cheesy 80's martial arts movies conversations but the Bionic smile just puts it over the top. That I must see.
