    Drones

That's what I have too. I also never considered it for scouting. Got it to take some nice vantage videos that you would normally not be able to get to. Though one time I was flying it and two hawks started circling it out of curiosity. I decided not to risk a hawk attack and packed it in.
  2. Where the heck is the owner of this dog? It also reckless to just let your dog run loose.

  4. Two blondes came across a set of tracks. 1st one said they might be moose tracks. 2nd one said it's definitely deer tracks. 1st one said no, I'm pretty sure they're moose tracks. They were still arguing when the train hit them.

    Beer

Been meaning to tour the brewery but apparently not motivated enough to get off my ass and fit it into the schedule. Maybe that can be a Westchester crew meetup spot.

  8. Sounds like you're suggesting you and I should move to South Africa?
  9. Let's do the math. The horn he cut, he said was worth around $250,000 in the black market. Assuming the legal open market (keep in mind that he is not allowed to sell internationally) values it much less but since we don't know what the legal value would be we would have to go by the black market value. He has 1900 rhinos. Assuming not all are full sized adults. Let's give it a 1/3 so about 630 adults. 630 times $250,000 means he produces $157.5 million in black market horns every 2 years. He probably had several years worth in that storage area.
  10. One of the common arguments to the African model of conservation is the corruption in the government resulting in a lot of the money not actually going towards conservation therefor hunting should be banned. That is a flawed logic. That's like saying dieting doesn't work because you keep sneaking a slice of chocolate cake at night when no one is looking so you should just give up dieting altogether.
  11. Finally saw the end. During the debate, they showed only two audience members during I guess was a Q&A and they were both hard core anti's. Were there not a single pro-hunter in the crowd? I think the producer did a wonderful job keeping the film neutral even if he was very anti-hunting but I still think there were times his liberal views bled into the film here and there. I've watched several such documentaries already and I wonder why they always find the more obnoxious hunters to film? Glass did a wonderful job in comparison to some of the others I've watch. How come they never interview an articulate ambassador such as Steve Rinella or Randy Newberg?
  12. If you were a pig/lion cross breed then you'll be on constant orgasm 24 hours a day.

Technically illegal to scout with a drone.
  14. I've watched an hour and a half of it before passing out. Planning on finishing it tonight. I'm up to where they're about to debate. I agree with most here. Did a good job in some areas and bad in others. Bad: 1. Opening the scene with the kid shooting a deer at a feeder then having to have the dad finish it off. 2. The crocodile hunter who was a complete douche bag. 3. Some of the blatant remarks at the safari club. 4. Glass celebrating while the elephant laid there dying. Could have at least waiting till it completely expired. Good: 1. Getting the locals perspective about the nuisance lion. 2. Having the locals share the meat of the elephant and some even remarking that it wasn't enough meat. 3. The breeder crying. 4. The rhino breeders struggle with poachers and then getting into that heated argument when a few of his rhino's were poached.
  15. Henry Winkler in Waterboy.
  16. Contrary to what a particular master hunter on this forum believes, I actually don't hunt based on the size of the racks so my outdoor adventures aren't actually hunting based but rather an nature experience that I can added hunting to. 1. I would like to see clouds beneath me. So I guess a big horn sheep hunt or a chamois hunt? 2. Swim with a whale shark. 3. Visit Christmas Island during the crab migration. 4. Going to Africa to hunt for anything that isn't canned would be a dream for me. 5. Eat a coconut crab.
  17. How long does it take to cook a steak that way?
  18. DVR set. Thanks for letting me know about this. Very curious to hear what they have to say.

  20. After skipping this year I'd say: 1st goal - Go out hunting. 2nd goal - Go out hunting and bring home some venison for the freezer. 3rd goal - Go out hunting and bring home some venison for the freezer that so happens to be from a wall hanger of a buck. 4th goal - While out hunting for some venison for the freezer that so happens to be from a wall hanger of a buck, take another game species (fox, coyote, bear, etc) that brings me one step closer to Dinsdale's ridiculous list.
  21. Deer, squirrel, pheasant, canada geese, crow, turkey, and rabbit. Missed on: feral hog, coyote, fox.
