In the beginning it's hard to figure out what's going on because the characters are also trying to figure out what's going. Once they figure out what's going on then its a matter of who to trust, who is on who's side, and how they/re going to get out of certain situations. To me, that's what made the show good.

With my current job I have about an hour commute each way so I watch a lot of Netflix on the train if I'm not listening to podcasts. Of the series, I highly recommend Stranger Things, Sense 8, Penny Dreadful (not a Netflix original but available on Netflix), and The Punisher. Of the Defenders series, Daredevil was the best one. The others sucked. And Punisher is way better than Daredevil (though it's not part of the Defenders line). I started watching Mindhunters. It's starting out slow for me but I'm going to keep watching and hopefully it picks up because I've heard a lot of good things about this show but so far it's boring. Of the documentary side, Making of a Murderer was good but The Keepers and The Seven Five were better. Of the Netflix original movies, What Happened To Monday is pretty good. Amazon Prime, I saw The Tick and Jean-Claude Van Johnson. They had their moments but neither are must watch.

what would the old hunter in you tell the young hunter you were
Elmo replied to Robhuntandfish's topic in General Hunting
I knew my wife for some time before we started seeing each other. She was always a friend who "wasn't my type". I would have gone with her sooner, which means less money wasted on loose women and instead get into hunting sooner and spend more time in the woods. -
any hunting stuff on the xmas wish list??

I've stopped checking out cameras. I used to spend so much on them and then a few months afterwards, I better one comes out and all of a sudden I feel like trading mines in. After a bunch of wasted money, I've now stop looking at what new cameras are out. Rather...I'm looking at what new guns are out. I guess I never learn.

Favourite gun shops between NYC and Buffalo
Elmo replied to left field's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I normally shop online and decide which one I like then I go to a couple of shops near NYC and have them order them for me. Usually it's Davis Shooting Sports. I've also used RT Gun and Smoke if I don't want to have to drive that far (they're in Mt Vernon) but I like Davis' service much better. -

That turns @Biz-R-OWorld post into "That's a whole lot of Dick's and Gander Mountains on the way LOL" and it just doesn't seem to sound right. -
You can't compare a point-and-shoot camera with a dSLR. Even a lot end dSLR will beat out most of the high-end point-and-shoots. Only a small handful of point-and-shoot can match an entry level dSLR but they're always going to be a bit pricey. dSLRs though, know that it's always more than the initial proce because you'll always want to upgrade the accessories. My brother bought a CyberShot. Can't remember which model. He only spent like $150 on it and it takes great pictures night and day but he's never really tested it for action shots. It's tiny so he can slip it into his shirt pocket which is what he wants. If you don't want to go dSLR, I recommend the Canon G series. I think they're up to like G9 at this point. I haven't checked in some time. I do know when the G series first came out they were in a class of their own because they were able to come close dSLR performance in a point and shoot body.

I'm actually looking for a good electrician if anyone can recommend one in the NYC area. Need some wiring done. I've moved an outlet years ago in one room and ever since then, things don't work properly. I've had handyman look at it and they all think it's wired correct but obviously it isn't so I figure I would need more of an expert to look at it.

My wife asked me "does these jeans make me look fat?" I said "no, its your belly that makes your fat." That's when the fight started.

Veal Goulash and Ukrainian Beets and Horseradish salad at Veselka. Good but my trip to Budapest has ruined Goulashes for me every where. None will be as good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
