  1. Yes. While the propulsion is different, the projectile is the same. The speed isn't that much different. The same advantages and limitations of the airbow are the same with the crossbow. If I had a crossbow hunting with someone with an airbow I wouldn't feel they have anything over me.
  2. I have the Contour ROAM3. At the time I picked it over the GoPro because of the tube profile instead of the square profile. I like that it sticks to the side of my head, rifle, or bow a but more snug compared to the GoPro. The GoPro stick out way too much. But just like the GoPro, it makes everything look like it's miles away.
  3. How's it any different than a crossbow?
  4. Glad to hear he was able to pull through. Hoping for a speedy recovery.
  5. Asia is the only place where that doesn't hold completely true. Some of the fruits, spice, etc aren't available here. One example is the mangosteens are $2 a pop here for something that amounts to a strawberry worth of flesh while in you can get them for pennies in Asia. And if you haven't had a mangosteen, you're missing out.
  6. The doe skeleton was several years ago and different location. Not related to the pentagram. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I was advised that Madrid wasn't anything special based on friends who have done that route. Also that the food was a bit overhyped. This of course is coming from city slickers. We're spoiled with food here. They said Madrid just seems like any other city. My plan is to fly into Seville or Granada and planning on touring the southern coast. Hopefully make our way to the Rock of Gibraltar. Then end up in Barcelona.
  8. There was the branches laid out as a pentagram I found last year. I also found the skeletal remains of a doe with the skeletal remains of the fetus lodged in her hip bone.
  9. I found some really good trailcams that got stuck to trees. Took them home to add to my collection. Just kidding!!
  10. Nothing in NY. I'm booking Spain for June. Planning on Labor Day weekend at a friends place in Vermont. My wife has to do a presentation in Greece in April. I might try to take advantage and hop on a flight out there with her if we can find out how to off load the kids.

    Beer

How is it there? Thought about going. Even though I live in the city, I use to hit up some minor league games for he cheap beer and the atmosphere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Also if you let them sit in salt water for a couple of hours before cooking it should soften them up. Some like to let them sit in milk. I haven't gone the milk route.
  13. I love me some liver. Especially chicken liver. Never had venison liver though. My dad had one from my first deer and told me to chuck it because it tasted like crap so I've never tried. Maybe he didn't cook it right?
  14. Happy birthday fellas! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I did lose my briefly as well. As I was packing up, I noticed it was gone. Dug around the ground where I was. Comb the entire area. Finally, I decide to check my backpack and found it there. Apparently as I was stuffing my sweater into the pack, when I pulled my hand out, it pulled the ring off.
  16. As ATbuckhunter said, you're more susceptible to getting sick because you're body is fighting and building an immunity. It thinks it's being attacked. Its also how some people think you'll get sick if you're out in the cold and wet. In reality, you're simply more susceptible because your body basically pulls all their defenses to fortify one area.

    Diets

I once took a blood/sugar exam and the assistant forgot to tell me that I'm suppose to fast before the exam so right before the exam I stopped by McDonalds and had 2 fish filets, a double cheese burger, 10 piece nugget, medium fries, and medium soda. The next day, the doctor called me directly and was freaking out. It took a few minutes of conversation before we realized the miscommunication. Ended up having to re-take the test at a future date.
  18. Left a gold necklace in a hotel room in Los Angeles. Of course they "never found it". Left a CamelBak back pack in a hotel in Thailand. Luckily the only things that were in there were sun tan lotion, towel, etc. Got pick pocket and had my cell phone stolen while stumbling back to the hotel drunk while in the Dominican Republic by a hag on a moped.
  19. They inject you with a dead virus that can't reproduce so if you get sick from it then you probably got injected with a dirty needle that was passed around in a drug den.
  20. The flu virus is highly mutative so doctors are trying to predict what its going to mutate into this year. Some times they guess well, some times they make a bad guess. But I agree. Its free and 10% is greater than 0%. Even if your a super healthy person, if you're around children and elderly, you should protect yourself for their sake.
  21. http://money.cnn.com/2015/01/19/news/liam-neeson-gun-control-boycott/index.html
  22. You mean the anti-gun guy who makes a living by playing with guns?
