  1. Question is Remington Arms going bankrupt or is it Remington Outdoor Company which use to be Freedom Group Company that's going bankrupt? Remington Arms is only one portion of the Remington Outdoor Company which also owns Marlin, H&R, Bushmaster, and several other companies. Not uncommon for a parent company to let one of its subsidiaries to take the hit and tank so it can wipe its debt clean and then rebuild later.
  2. My work pays for my cell. Had T-Mobile way back, then my last job was Verizon for 10 years, and now my new job is T-Mobile. Honestly, I did get better reception with Verizon but there were also some areas I went with Verizon that people with T-Mobile were getting service that my Verizon wasn't getting. I think thought, over all, I got better coverage with Verizon. That being said, I remember the president of my last company not getting good Verizon coverage at his house so they switched him to AT&T. Most of us have routines. With work and home, we go to the same places 95% of the time. Question isn't which one has the best coverage. It's which one has the best coverage in the areas you're in the most. If you're getting good coverage equally, then go with the cheapest one.
  3. Not a pellet rifle expert but I do know that you have to hold a spring piston differently so if you're using it to practice for a powder rifle then don't get a spring piston.
  4. Funny thing is that wasn't a joke. I was on my way to Los Angeles and flight delays caused me to miss my connecting flight in Dallas and the next flight won't be till the next day. Tired, frustrated, and hungry, I texted a friend of mine who knew Dallas well and asked him where's a good place to grab a bite to eat at such a late hour. He gave me directions which I relayed to the cab driver without ever mentioning what the place was. I should had known my buddy would do something like that.
  5. Many many years ago I stumbled into a strip club looking to buy a quick drink and got lost. Took me several hours to find my way out. I lost a good amount of cash along the way.
  6. Season 3 Episodes 4 and 6 (San Junipero and Hated in the Nation) and Season 4 Episode 3 (Crocodile) were my favs.
  7. She complied with everything and when she told him to stop, he actually stopped. We're now suppose to be able to read minds?
  8. Heck...I'm still lost. Got "lost" twice early on when learning to hunt. Hiked in deep once. Didn't bring a compass as my brother had always advised me. I relied on a GPS but I kept getting interference and it couldn't get pin my location. Ended up zig-zagging my way out instead of a straight line. As a result, it took much longer and got dark. I ended up doing a good portion of it in the dark. I always bring a compass from now on. Second time I had scouted a good location and "memorized" how to get there based on certain landmarks. Opening day of bow season, there was a huge down pour the day before and as I'm hiking in pitch dark, those landmarks changed. Ended up walking around in circles until day break.
  9. @Belo if you're a fan of Black Mirror, check out Electric Dreams on Amazon Prime. So much better. More budget too so several big stars are in it. Though some of their twists leaves the viewer hanging so if you're the type who would let that irk you...
  10. Gloria (that’s the name of the restaurant) Hope pictures come out in order: 1. Jalapeño cornbread 2. Black bass tartare 3. Wild mushrooms 4. Jonah crab 5. Seared Pollack 6. Octopus over beets and black ink rice 7. Panna cotta. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Sorry to break it to you but they're both married and Portman has kids.
  12. Some people are like Slinky toys. Completely useless but so much fun to watch when you push it down the stairs.
  13. You've never walked into a bar and scoped out the competition?
  14. Working in IT. What annoys me is people who don't do their jobs properly so when their boss puts the heat on them, they file a complain against IT for things "not working properly" as to why they didn't get their work done on time. Another one that gets me is people who walk through a door or turnstile and then immediately stops to check their phone or whatever. Then the people walking behind them would bump into them like a car slamming their brakes in the highway. To make it worst, some of them would look back and get annoyed at the people who are bumping into them. I feel like kicking them straight in the back some times.
  15. Do they call you "Mister Glass"? (obscure movie reference)
  16. I guess it's a little late but I stumbled on this today. Really caught my attention. https://ivuecamera.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMInovVg6KL2QIVUQOGCh1u7gvrEAAYASAAEgKdqPD_BwE
  17. Sorry about your loss.
