I got into reading the James Patterson "Alex Cross Series" I probably read 12-13 out of the 27 or so books in the series. I really have to get back into it. I like the style of writing as it kept you interested in it. I did just finish "The Operator Firing The Shots That Killed Osama Bin Laden" written by Robert O'Neill who clams to have fired the kill shots. It's never been confirmed that it was him. The book was a good read as it took you through his life in the Navy and the SEAL's. According to the way the book read and finished being the guy that killed Osama really changed his life and not necessary in a good way.

I had to open this thread just to see what BBYHOCBNSODS could possibly stand for! Here my best one I had on camera that I never saw. He only showed up twice, both during the day once on a Friday and once on a Sunday. That particular Sunday I was home carving pumpkins with the kids instead of sitting in the stand and having a 20 yard broadside shot at him. He's a big 10 point that is no doubt taller than mine from last year. I think he was seen once in person by another hunter but he was 250+ yards away and was only seen for a few seconds. It was at the end of the season so I hope he made it through.

Whats you opinion on the one going into the freezer? how well do you think it will hold up? I would think pretty good except maybe the tortilla shells. I am about to prepare at least 5 homemade meals that can be frozen for future use and this sounds like it could be a good addition.

As far as I remember you can get insurance for trips that allow you to cancel for any reason. Now I am not sure if in order to get this you have to go through a travel agent or not but I know it's out there. My sister in law just canceled a trip less than a year ago because her husband changed jobs and could no longer get the time off. They knew this was a possibility so they had the insurance, canceled their trip and all they where out was the insurance money.

I love it when you think it's going to be nothing but a gimmick but it ends up being very useful. I dont know if its just me but I always seem to be in need of a flashlight. I use my phones flashlight a lot.

Larry, just get the cancel for any reason insurance and book it. The insurance is usually pretty cheap compared to the cost of the trip. If the outbreak gets worse as time goes on and your not comfortable going anymore then just cancel it and your not out a lot of money. Alaska is very popular destination right now.
