    Interesting. I don’t know what way is the correct way to be honest. My line of thinking is use the buck tag because for obvious reason you thought it was a buck when you pulled the trigger due to antlers. If you didn’t have a doe tag then what? Kinda like shooting a button buck. It goes on a doe tag because perhaps there was no was to tell it was a buck. Just my line of thinking right or wrong I do not know.     I pulled the plug at 11am so I could check in on some tree stands before gun season and get home for my mother in laws birthday dinner. Saw a nice buck before sunrise then a lone doe at 9am. 4 more tails around 10:30 as they got spooked then lastly one more doe I jumped while checking stands. It was a great day for seeing deer but frustrating for other reasons. I only have Saturday until mid day then hopefully all day Sunday left to hunt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Had a lone doe walk by. Closest she came was 40 yards. I tried to get her to stop and come closer but she wasnt interested. Hopefully a buck will follow her path. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Just had a really nice looking buck at 25 yards 30min prior to legal light. It looked like he was either making a scrap are freshing on up. He turned around after an ATV went by in the distance. Not scared just didn’t stick around. I hope he comes back. Question. Should I grunt or bleat in case he didn’t go far or just stay quiet and hope he comes back ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I’ll take 45 degrees and sunny. No wind no rain just a nice day out in the woods. This way I won’t be sitting there freezing wondering why in the world I’m doing something so stupid like getting out of a nice warm bed with a beautiful women in it at 4am to hunt deer. It sounds ridiculous just typing it. Note: typed out at 4:23am from the kitchen table while eating breakfast waiting to venture out in 32 degree weather while said beautiful women is still in the nice warm bed. Ugh!
