  1. I have to do rear brakes on my truck later today. Normally I just do it outside but today I’ll tuck it in the garage and get the 2 kerosene heaters going for a bit before I start to work. It will be a tight working area on the drivers side but it’s better than being completely outside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yep, 11 and 8. Both girls. The 11 year old is coming around to foods with a lot more flavor but the 8 year old would be perfectly happy with a burger and fries every night for dinner. Not that my mom was a bad cook but I wish I had some of the meals as a kid that my children are getting to have.
  3. My kids would be jealous of your kids Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Good info thanks. On the Hodgdon website you entered cartridge then bullet weight then powder. After that it gave info on 2 different loads except now it had a specific bullet to go with that data. Seemed odd as I didn’t select an exact bullet just the weight and from what I’ve read so far you go by bullet weight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Even though I could use a rifle in 2014 I carried the 12ga 1100 through the 2018 season and into the opening weekend of the 2019 season. I believe it was the next weekend I carried the rifle for something different and tagged a doe by 9am with it. I’ll still carry the shotgun at least once a year during our deer drives. Last deer I shot with it was the 10point that’s on my wall unfortunately I don’t have a picture of that buck and the gun together so heres the doe I took in 2017 with it. 7. That's right you heard me each and everyone of you are a bad influence especially @grampy @Lawdwaz @airedale @mlammerhirt @rob-c and I'm sure many others that I'm forgetting. You guy's got me interested in reloading so I started to look around and ask question and look for used equipment. Well last night I stopped at a guys house that was selling some stuff and picked up a RCBS single stage press, misc. brass, tumbler with extra media, 1000 cci large rifle primers and 2 pounds of Hodgons Varget powder. I still have more to purchase before I can start but it looks like I am committed now. I mostly just want to reload for my 30-.06 and my daughters .243. @mlammerhirt and myself are working together to work up a light load for the .243 for our kids. If reloading for those goes well maybe I'll start to reload for other calibers. So thanks..... I think?
  8. Man I was really hoping y'all where through with Covid. Prayers and a speedy recover for you guys.
  9. I would never reveal the facts as I know them to an employer!
  10. While I don't necessarily disagree with this statement when you have a family a camp is also a nice place to spend time away from the house no matter what time of year it is. I know my family will venture off to our camp all through out the year to hang out and get away. The nicer the camp the better chance you have of going there more than just during the hunting season.
  11. I'm really jealous of you machinist types. it's amazing you guys can make stuff like this in your free time.
  12. Awesome place man! Sounds like a dream come true.
  13. He probably meant powder. Brand of powder and how many grains to match up with that 80 grain TTSX bullet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I'm not a betting person but I'm a sucker for a good fundraiser. Send me a text with Venmo/PayPal info if your taking money that way.
  15. Woah woah woah..... From a tarp? like the plastic tarp you use to cover stuff up and keep it out of the weather type tarp?
  16. I never hunted rabbit with a dog. Just a couple other guys logging miles and miles on foot without much success. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Agreed. And to piggy back on this as well. “I have had my pistol permit for XX years and have had no violations in that time” That statement is something I know a few people did when they applied from target/hunting to concealed carry. Each one of them was granted concealed carry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Rifles to sell you say…. Do tell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. That’s nice if you to offer. I’m in Erie County. WNY. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Happy Birthday!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I only have two right now. S&W bodyguard .380 that I love to carry. Doesn’t matter what you wear because you can always just toss it in a pocket. The other is a Ruger SR9 dang thing is so smooth to shoot but being full size carries for shit. Next to purchase someday is a revolver for hunting. Been reading a lot on the Redhawk and Blackhawk but I’d like to shoot them before purchasing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Guns are all cleaned and in the safe but all the other gear is still in my truck. There is a small chance I am going small game hunting Sunday morning so I may organize and put all my stuff away during the Bills game Sunday evening. I must say that I feel like I have been way better this year at putting things back in the tote that that belong in so my organization and clean up time might not be that bad.
  23. You don’t want to know. It’s kinda like when they say is better off to not meet your hero’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
