    Beer

First beer in the new home? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. My brother and sister in law in Batavia had the worst flooding in their basement they have ever had Thursday. They spent all day Thursday and Friday cleaning up the aftermath. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I just put a Vortex Crossfire II 3x9x50 on my 30-.06 this season and the clarity of that compared to the Simmons scope that came on it was amazing and I didn't think the Simmons scope was all that bad for a low end package scope. I think I paid $170 for the Vortex.
  4. I had a group of 8 in the yard the other day. One much larger bodied deer was harassing another adult like a buck would but he had no rack. I couldn’t tell if he was a buck that dropped his rack or just some doe on doe playfulness. Beginning of September 2021 we saw a spotted fawn in the yard while we where waiting for the school bus. That little spotted fawn is still alive as of Monday. You can miss her as she’s so much smaller than all the rest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Just spied a Speer reloading manual #14 on eBay. $20 for a hard cover so now that’s on its way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I guess it pays off to not pay attention to your super bowl squares. I just got handed $140. 5 of us went in on a $100 square and we hit for $700 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Something tells me your hiring a mover to handle everything but if you need an extra truck to move all those mounts you know where to find me. It would make an epic GTG. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hot damn. Stick to high end bows and guns! You’ll save a ton of money in the long run!!!! Congratulations on the beautiful home. May you have many years of happiness there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Coming from the guy with a carpeted bed.... I'm not surprised. LOL
  10. My wife’s terrain has the heated steering wheel and it’s a really nice feature but I don’t think it would be Mandatory my next vehicle. I use it then it gets to hot and I turn it off. I have heated seats in my truck and am conflicted about those as well. While super nice to have I end up shutting them off after a bit because they are too hot BUT when I was shopping for a 250 I kept wanting heated seats so I don’t know. Now get me cooled seats and I’m in for those for sure! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Cheap and easy is exactly what I need. is it this one? https://www.charbroil.com/analog-electric-smoker-18202077
  12. I’m far to lazy to try and find the post but what smoker did you end up going with? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The sealed 10 year battery style is one thing that you should spend a little bit more money on to avoid the false alarms and battery chirping problems. We had a false alarm on the CO detector one summer. Windows where open I had just cooked dinner outside on the grill so there was no way it was a true alarm but we called 911 anyways. They showed up full lights and sirens much to my wife's embarrassment and to mine and my kids enjoyment. They scanned the house and got no readings on their equipment. We showed them the CO alarm and that's where they told us they get a lot of false alarm from those cheaper models. I went to Home Depot that night at 8pm to pick up new more expensive ones. We haven't had a problem since.

  15. And because it's in the name of "racial equity" if you are against it you are automatically a racist.
  16. Ok that clip was comedy gold! By the way I think you played right field. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. He would jump from the history of the Bison to his hunt. The chapters on the history of the Bison in the US while interesting it was also a bit boring and lacked the ability to hold my attention. The chapters on his hunt where generally interesting and well written in the same manor he narrates his the meat eater show. In the end I got only about a third of the way through the book before it was time to renew the loan and I simply returned it instead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Gots me a lot of reading to do! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Atta boy Gary! What a friend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Ahhhh Making me miss my lab pup. I never got her trained on ducks as I could not properly get her to sit and stay but she was a fantastic pheasant dog. Congratulations on the new pup in the family! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I used the snowblower the other day because I was to lazy to move vehicles out of the garage to get it out and you know what sucks about using the blower instead of the plow? All the wind blown snow right back in your face! You don’t get that with the plow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
