  1. Empty house with the dog to keep ya company. Take COVID out of the equation and it sounds like a dream come true! I hope this is as bad as it gets and you can be in the woods Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It’s no 18 pointer to put me in the lead but points are points!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Same, and with the kids off of school they can tag along as well. My 1/1/22 hunt might have to be a evening hunt. We will have guests over for new years eve and I suspect a very late night and a hungover morning.
  4. Nice, glad to see the DEC making a push back to Erie County
  5. Oh man, by this time of the year my wife is annoyed enough with my hunting I couldn't imagine doing this to her. LOL
  6. Oh man Don stinks that it's happening around the holiday. I hope you all come out of this with no problems. Take care of yourselves and the holiday can always be celebrated later with family.
  7. I just shot ya a message. Let me know if you got it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. What do you think you will get for it on gunbroker? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Spray in all the way. Then depending on how you use the truck bed a rubber mat just for the bed. I’ve never done it because I’m never climbing in the bed on my knees but guys that use caps love to have the rubber mat so they can kneel in the truck bed with some comfort while getting things in and out. 10. Happy Belated Birthday gents! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Losing light fast. Going to call it with nothing seen. I’ll be back out once or twice for the late holiday season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. If she gives me the green light on the limper it’s a full go. She has the final say on all things small. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. In for the afternoon. Almost anything is fair game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. 2 does on the neighbors property on my morning sit. 7-11. Daughter is coming out for the afternoon hunt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Sat as late as I could today 12:45pm. It didn’t pan out we also got a lot of rain as well so that on top of the moon = suckage Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I’m usually burnt out as well. I didn’t go super hard this year and that combined with the holiday hunt has me excited to keep going. Plus I could really use another deer for the freezer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I think I’ve been bamboozled into thinking the muzzleloader season is this great time in the woods where the deer are everywhere hearded up in massive groups just making there way though unpressured woods with out a care in the world. LIES I TELL YOU LIES!!!! today was no different than the last 3,485 days spent in the woods!!! 5 hours in the woods and only one injured deer seen. Now if y’all don’t mind I’m off to pick up what little pride I have left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Oh lord, this has to be the all time best ball busting ever. What’s the story now that it’s out in the open. How big we talking? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. 15 min ago a young deer passed by. It was favoring its back right leg but moving along ok. I didn’t have an opportunity for a good look or a shot. When I get down I’ll go check it’s track out to see if it was bleeding and if so how bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. So far muzzleloader is just like the regular season. No deer to be seen. A fair amount of snow has come down though and made the woods look like a post card. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. One hour in and all is quiet. Not a single shot yet. 32 degrees feels like 23 and the snow is just starting to fall. I don’t have to great of expectations but I just couldn’t pass up on the first ever muzzleloader hunt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Looks like another rainy/snowy day tomorrow morning. If it was another day of the regular season I would probably turn the alarm off but I’m excited to carry the muzzleloader for the first time. I put a lot of effort in getting it ready and getting myself ready for it that I want to get out and use it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I would take it back and have them put it back together and make it right. I doubt it was the bow and possibly a one off mistake by the shop. Human error can happen at least give them a chance. I’ve seen a ATV roll over with the bow on the front rack and the bow came out unharmed. They are tough SOB’s so I wouldn’t worry about the bow itself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Remember…. I circled it on the damn calendar!!! Lol Im taking this as a win Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Tag along with him, sit together in a double unarmed and just be an extra set of eyes and maybe a camera man for him. Now he gets to tell his new wife he’s hanging out with Dad. She can’t say no to that. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
