I was just talking to a sales men about 2022 F150's his dealership is adding $1,000 to the MSRP offering no incentives/rebates and selling them as fast as they come in. I will be hanging onto my 2018.

I’m sure at some point I’ll also get tired of crawling on the ground but for right now I enjoy it. Sometimes I just lay under the truck staring up at it mindlessly while the oil drains out. No impact this year other than me having to be up an extra 30 min earlier. Most days it seemed like there wasn’t enough light in the morning until 15 min before sunrise or later and most days you only got an extra 10-15 min after sunset before running out of light. My only motivation to make it out today was my youngest daughter wanting to go with me. We all had a late night and she ended up not wanting to go out so instead we sat on the couch and watched some tv together. I do my own oil in the truck. The new one is a little bit of a pain but I like doing it. Less than an hour of my time and a couple of beers gets the job done and it gives me a chance to crawl under and check things over. My wife's small SUV I just have it done at the dealer. She leases and either the oil changes are free or they are almost the same price I can do it for without the hassle. I will do most simple maintenance items on the truck but that list is getting smaller and smaller the newer of the vehicle I get. Again my wife leases so I think in her last 3 vehicles all I have done is one set of front pads and rotors. Anything air filter related is a rip off not to do yourself.

The dehydrator worked good. Took 6 hours at 155 but I do like my jerky on the dry side. It was nice to just set it and forget it. No pictures because it was almost 11pm when it finished up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
