    If your not enjoying it stop doing it and wait for the rifle season to come around. I may sit in the rain and complain about it but I still like to be out there. Not to compare you to a kid but one thing that I always tell my daughter when we sit together is “let me know if your not enjoying this any more and we will head back in because there’s no point in being out here if your not enjoying it”.     I had some running around to do after hunting before coming home. I was on the road for a little over an hour and passed countless ag fields. Homes with huge yards and stretches of woods and I did not see a single deer in any of them which is so out of the ordinary. Clothes are in the washer everything else is either hung up to dry or waiting to be washed and dried. The bow is completely wiped down and re waxed. I REALLY hate hunting in the rain.     Daughter and I are in. 10% chance of rain and it’s raining of course. No rain shown on the radar other wise I would have went into a blind to stay dry. The umbrella is up but it’s not big enough for both of us so I’m half under it so she can be completely under it.     In for the afternoon with my daughter. She made sure to bring the lucky skittles. Changed plans up a bit we are sitting over a food plot in a box blind. I was told there was good activity here last night and because I have my daughter with me the guy that was going to hunt this stand told me to go there instead.     Well all things considered I thought I had a decent plan this morning. I sat on the edge of the flooded out land in the oak trees with standing corn to my west. Good wind for where I thought they would come from but only thing I saw was a chunky spike 50 yards away right on the edge of the flooded land. Time for a break before the evening hunt.     It’s starting to lighten up a bit in woods. Hopefully that means the rain is over with and the deer will get on there feet. Hunting until noon then picking my daughter up so we can sit the evening together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I’m up and in no rush. 40 min ride out to the property and sunrise is not until 7:44 legal shooting 7:14. The land is going to be completely flooded so I won’t have as much to choose from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
