I suppose that is possible .... that and maybe a bunch of other reasons. But that is a whole lot of supposing. The fact is that we have "rumors" of a bunch of people calling for AR, and still the 1.5 yr olds go down at the same rate. To me it sounds like at best it's a whole lot of lip service without much conviction. Doc I dont see where you are getting that from? The chart I saw a bunch of pages back, seems to show that in the AR areas, the 1.5 take is down by quite a bit. Can you point me in the right direction to the numbers you are drawing your info from? Im looking for numbers from the AR areas, not the state as a whole, btw.

From what was shown in that clip, there really wasn't much of a message other than (strictly in the context of that clip) Nugent doesn't believe in applying ethics to hunting. I strongly disagree with that attitude, and if that was what he really wanted to say, That may encourage me to start bashing him too.....lol. However, I didn't get to see the rest of the program so I have no way of judging whether somebody just lifted a piece of a damaging rant with the intent of leaving a negative impression. Ha-ha ..... they do that in ploitics all the time. Doc You have to see the entire show, as this segment could easily be taken out of context.

My ladder stand stays up, just check the straps. I bought a hang on this year and have it up, that will come down.

Maybe they support ARs because they would just rather have the opportunity to shoot bigger, more mature bucks, which they dont have because everyone around them shoots everything brown and all thats around are spikes and forkhorns in their area. :

I wouldnt buy a garden tractor. Compact tractor at least. Thats a big driveway. A front end loader or plow truck is what you really need. Youll wear a garden tractor/small blower out in less than 10 years. Paying a plow guy isnt going to be cheap on that size driveway.

Or a tractor with a plow and/or front end loader. Maybe pick up a cheap old truck with a plow.

Ugh, I cant stand it anymore. Since I quit, I have become so sensitive to that smell it isnt funny. If someone smokes, then walks by me at 15 feet, I can smell them immediately. I am so glad I dont smell like that anymore lol.

I got my last stand hung yesterday, still have to put the blind up on my ladder stand though. I wish the rain would stay away so I can get it done tonight. I really have nothing left to do except that until the season starts. Bow is shooting great, I have my form back and Im stocked up on supplies.

I agree with you, I have noticed the same thing this time of year. I figure it has something to do with the bachelor groups breaking up and the bucks kind of keeping an eye on the does.

Sprint is bad news. Bad bad news lol. Besides AT&T, they have the worst coverage around. My sister has Sprint and she is constantly having dropped calls, etc. Stay with Verizon. JMO

Theres been lots of roadkill deer around here lately, not just on that stretch. The weather has been cooling down, fields are being harvested and the deer are moving.
