They had to use explosive devices to breach the doors to the rooms. That probably was what sounded like shots and most likely would have caused more glass to fall. -
So you are saying that pulling a trigger on one type of weapon is not the same as pulling the trigger on another type of weapon?

I dont know what your malfunction is Doc, but I will say it again, I am not looking to make any rules or have any type of control over anything. The things that I speak of on here are my OPINIONS. Nothing more, nothing less. This is just another example of you twisting things that someone is saying. Go procreate with yourself.

Here’s the young buck

So after the young buck came by, I had a 3 1/2 year old 8 cruise by at around 60. It’s a buck I have on cam and he is a good buck, but not what I’m after this year. Right after he went by, another 3 does came in. Had them at 15 yards, but they got a pass today. Was a great sit, saw 12 deer total, all but the one were in range. I was bummed Haley wasn’t with me, she would have had the green light on any of them. Depending on the weather this week, I plan to skip out of work early a day or two to get back in there after one of my hit listers.

Just had a 1 1/2 at 10 yards

Just had 3 big tom turkeys go by. The one had the longest beard I’ve ever seen up close.

Just had 2 big doe with 5 fawns come in to 15 yards to eat off of a freshly fallen maple tree. I’m not here for them right now so they got a pass.

I can’t say that I have noticed anyone that has been for full inclusion in previous years changing their stance on it. You anti guys sure do like to make your baseless assumptions.

Sitting in the stand I killed my buck out of last year. Checked cams yesterday, been getting pics of my #1 hit lister walking through this area every day for the last week or so. Some days after dark, others before. Hopefully today is a before dark day.

Or quite a few pro crossbow members don’t bother replying to the treads year after year.

I don’t give a damn what “gun hunters” say. I’m talking about archery. Using your logic, you could replace guns with rocket launchers. Keep twisting things to try and make your point all you want. Anyone that has spent a couple of years on this site knows that’s how you roll. What I said is there for anyone to see. It’s also there for anyone to see that a few of you anti crossbow guys are the only ones suggesting the possibility of injecting guns into the archery season at some point.

Yes but he also had the room next to it. If you look at the pics of the building and count windows between the broken ones and different angles of walls you’ll see it was 2 separate rooms. -

There probably is, but I dont really think he was running between the two, the pauses between volleys were about long enough for him to be switching rifles, or swapping mags, but who knows. He had 3 days to set this up. For all we know he cut a hole in the wall between the rooms lol. -

You are twisting things Doc. My comments are about archery equipment in archery season. If you want to change a few words and twist it into a possible argument for injecting guns into archery season or getting rid of archery season all together, then thats on you. Its no different than people saying that Trump wants to get rid of all immigrants when he says he wants illegal immigrants deported. Its nothing but fear mongering IMO. I could care less if you agree or disagree.

I dont want to dictate anything, Im not the rules maker, but I can say that MY comments only apply to what I am talking about. If YOU twist them to try and apply them to something else, then that is YOUR deal. I will correct anyone that tries to twist what I said into something else. Dont like it? Pound sand. I have never said that the main reason I support crossbows is to help solve wounding issues, it is just one of the reasons.

Its not the logical next step, you guys are making a big jump from archery equipment to guns. Nobody that is supporting crossbows on here has said anything about getting rid of archery season or injecting guns into it. Thats just you anti-crossbow guys that use it as a way to ratchet up the fear factor to try and make a point.

I had to take a couple of days before the end of October, so I have the 30,31 off. I plan on taking another couple of days the following week, then Ill have Thanksgiving week off.

Mine are around 450 or 460 total with the 125gr heads. You might want to switch to a heavier broadhead and try rear deploying or fixed blade heads.

I shoot Rage 125gr Crossbow X heads (yes crossbow heads out of my compound), and they go right through deer. My buck last year was at 40 yards and the head went right through it. The arrow didnt go all the way through, but the broadhead did, Im pretty sure because the deer lurched forward, and its shoulder snapped the first 3" and the broadhead off before the whole arrow went through. The other piece of the arrow shot back out the other side. I shoot 63lbs. Im guessing you may need to get more weight in your arrows. Speed isnt everything.
