  1. Seeing as a few of the posters on there are the same lawyers working on the cases to get rid of the safe act, you can walk away from that site with very good, legit info on the laws and interpretations. In fact, if it was illegal to privately sell ammo, they would not be allowing it in their classifieds, as that site is one of the main targets of the antis. They are very strict about adhereing to the laws and making sure nothing illegal goes on with that site involved in any way. Skimming through a handful of threads wont give you the full story. Read it how you want to, but private ammo sales, at this point, are legal.
  2. Not all of us are that lucky today. Gotta love these March storms around here, they can be some of the worst ones of the year. Im not all that worried about it though, I have 4 wheel drive and good tires. Should be fun.
  3. Oh yeah, if you look close at the pic, you can barely see the third deer's head. Strange
  4. Id spend an extra few bucks on a Vortex and get a few more features, and their lifetime fully transferable warranty. If you ever sell the scope or pass it on to someone, they will appreciate the transferable part lol. http://www.cameralandny.com/optics/vortex.pl?page=vortexcrossfireii3-9x40
  5. I agree that someone probably couldnt find their way back to the deer. They may have hung them if they were worried about dogs or yotes or something getting to them on the ground. Seeing as they were tagged, as long as the person called them in, I dont think theres anything illegal about this, so reporting them to DEC isnt going to accomplish anything. As far as doubles go, people do that all the time. I did it this past season, and Ive done it a few other times before.
  6. QDM is a mindset, or management style. QDMA is an organization. The rest phade covered nicely.
  7. Martin got bought last year by some conglomerate company IIRC. I dont think they missed a single model year. They are putting out a new image to revive things. They had a good thing going with the Rytera line for a while there. I shot an Alien X, and it was a great bow, i just liked my Hoyt better. Good to see Martin coming back, i could care less about who pumps their gear.
  8. I stay away from them because if i didnt, I would end up with one of the money pits in my garage. I had a bunch of them when i was younger. Always breaking, worse than a boat lol.
  9. HAHAHAHAHA I think he had those listed in the Rochester CL too. What a deal!
  10. You can use your web browser on your phone too. Just go to the site in the browser and scroll to the bottom and select 'Full Site' then follow the same instructions I gave you. Im not sure how to do it in tapatalk.
  11. Up at the top toward the right, youll see your username with an arrow pointing down next to it. Click on that and then choose 'My Profile'. Once you get to that page, theres a button that says 'Edit my Profile', click that.
  12. Ive had no issues with the Remington 22 in either my handgun or rifle. Never a dud or misfire.
  13. Lighter than UA? Ive never tried the Merino wool, but I find that hard to believe. I have T-shirts that are heavier weight material than my Cold Gear.
  14. Mike, you would really choose not to vote against Cuomo? Really? I think it would suck to have to choose the lesser of two evils, i would like to see a truly good candidate, but I will be voting for the strongest candidate with a chance to oust Cuomo. We cannot afford for him to stay in office. You can kiss more of your money and rights goodbye if he does.
  15. Either that or search around for other guns like it that are for sale online. You can figure out a ballpark from there.
  16. I had a Sportsman 335, and it was great for the things you are talking about. It didnt go super fast, but it was a full size frame, never got stuck in the swamps, and hauled just as well as my buddys Sportsman 400. Its an overlooked older model that is right up the alley you are talking about. You can find them well under 2k in perfect shape. That being said, my next one will be a Honda Foreman, as I dont want the IRS or Automatic trans
  17. I have an insulated Predator warp knit jacket and Bibs I wear. Under that, I have my UA Coldgear base layer and a rocky Medium base layer shirt, which is basically a light weight sweatshirt. Thats it. Im out in subzero temps predator hunting in that gear, and do just fine.
  18. As long as I can golf and fish, and my reciepts dont say "Obamacare" who cares?
  19. Yes, just twists a bit and pops off. It doesnt attach to the sight, so no need to worry about that. Im not sure about the HHA.
