  1. How so? The senate bill went through its committees and passed quickly. It hasnt been in the Assembly for long at all.
  2. I wouldnt say perfect deer hauler. Getting a deer up there would be a real pain and you have to stay within the weight limits for your roof rack. It is great for hauling coolers and other gear that doesnt have to stay in the car/truck.
  3. Ive pretty much discounted food plots this year, I dont see most of the spots I wanted to put them in drying out any time soon, and the ones that are still dryish I cant get to. Oh well.
  4. It was reported to rules today. Just needs to pass that and be voted on the floor and it will go to the Gov after that. Still plenty of time to go through this year.
  5. I shoot them both in my shotgun and use the SSTs in my muzzle loader. They are just plain awesome. Last year I shot 3 deer with them (all out of the ML) and not one went more than 90 yards. The ones that did go that far left great blood trails. The buck I shot was at 180 yards and it destroyed both shoulders, darn near liquifying the off side shoulder. Im not even sure how he ran on just his rear legs and with the near side front shoulder punched through and the off side virtually non existent. He went 60ish yards. The one that went 90 was a quartering to single lung/liver hit. The third dropped in her tracks.
  6. If it goes through, Ill be fine with it. If Ontario passes as well, my shotgun will collect some major dust.
  7. They might be. Now that I think about it, Im not sure what the legality would be for a shop to buy it from a private person, but I would think that it wouldnt be any different than buying anything else from a private person and reselling it. They do it with guns, accessories, etc all the time.
  8. Dang that was lucky, doggone nearly lost a 400 dollar hand cart!
  9. That bus tour sounds like a good use of taxpayer dollars.
  10. Do you guys sing "Camptown Ladies" while you work in the plots? Anyone that gets that reference has a great sense of humor!
  11. I used to leave lighters in the car all the time. Never had a problem. I might still have one in there somewhere, they come in handy from time to time.
  12. Yes its legal, but youd better watch yourself on how much you are making and not reporting to the IRS.
  13. 10 to 1 they are reselling it on the net for a large profit. If people would just stop panic buying ammo from the guys online, etc at inflated prices and the problem will go away.
  14. Milk snake. He should get rid of some mice for ya.
  15. Word is, it passed in the Senate just minutes ago!
  16. And theres your main issue, you dont even have any idea what you are talking about to begin with. Thanks for confirming one of my suspicions.
  17. Oh, and please, explain how a crossbow user can shoot themselves in the foot when the arrow would fall off of the crossbow if you point it down at a steep angle. Or how it would get them if they dropped it out of the tree, when, again, the arrow would fall out of the crossbow on the way down.
  18. It is. A loaded and cocked crossbow, when handled responsibly is no more dangerous than a bow with an arrow nocked. You must be one of those guys that blames the gun when it goes off because some dippety doo drops it out of his tree, or says the gun is less safe because some idiot shoots his buddy thinking its a deer moving over in the bushes, or maybe when a ding dong shoots himself in the foot because he didnt have the safety on while he was walking around with the gun.
  19. Look on craigslist. The artificial trees pop up on there in the free section from time to time.
  20. Precisely why I moved to SSTs from the Copper Solids.
  21. I looked at the multiple buck stats a couple of years ago. What they were, I dont remember off hand. Ill see if I cant dig it up, but its all on this site somewhere.
