  1. They just dont know exactly what is going to be laid out in the end. Remember, the 5 year plan is only in the first public proposal (draft) phase right now.
  2. Ahhhhh, I get it now. You are trying to say that a white guy cant mention a black man's ancestry without being racist. I got ya. You are just so full of shit, you actually think you are making sense, when in reality you just sound like the idiot that you are. ;D
  3. Look pal, Im not an idiot, and you arent going to spin this into your favor. You are trying to fabricate something out of nothing, and its not going to work. Man up and admit it or shut your pie hole.
  4. No matter how much you flap your gums, it still doesnt mean the term Kenyan Socialist means anything other than a Socialist from Kenya. Just man up and admit you were wrong and get back on topic.
  5. Ok so now you have completely proved yourself to be the idiot. Heres the definition of Kenyan, and in no way is it racist. It describes someone from Kenya. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Kenyan
  6. Its driving me nuts not being able to camp this year. Oh well, Ill just do double the trips next year! ;D Have fun Doe!
  7. I doubt there are many people that think cougars COULDNT re-establish a population here, at least thats not what I think. I just have not seen any proof to confirm the rumors that there are currently cougars living in NY on a regular, wild basis. Sure they could re-establish themselves, after all, there are elk in PA which are being spotted in NY on occasion, wild hogs moving in, moose, and look at the bear population. Would I want to see MLs become established here? Not really.
  8. good thing you had orange on. Right! ;D
  9. 2 lb per hour is a tad slow . : I would be more inclined to think 2 lbs per minute . LMAO, I cant believe I did that, thanks for the correction Eddie
  10. One time, quite a few years ago, I was sitting down in front of a tree on Hi-Tor state land, and had some jackass open up on a yearling running up the hill. One of his shots hit the tree I was sitting against, about a foot or two above my head. I was wearing an orange hat and vest. I have never returned to that particular piece of state land.
  11. BTW, if you want to save some bucks, shoot the bows at the shops, figure out what you want and then go to www.archerytalk.com and go to the classified section. There are alot of people that will sell you current year or last years bows for 1/2 the price of new. I shot a bunch and came to the decision I want a Hoyt Maxxis 31. Its an 800 dollar bow brand new, but I can get one somewhere between $400 to $500 on there used. Some shops sell their leftovers on there too, brand new in the box for a big discount over retail.
  12. Nope, not Skips, this guy is rather well known though.
  13. Even if it traveled by its self to CT, its a very rare occurrence. Nobody is saying that there arent MLs in the wild, there are none native to the Northeast.
  14. A certain butcher local to Rochester uses the Gander Mountain "Guide Series" grinders, and he does a TON of grinding each year. I bought one as well and have done a bunch of meat with it. No problems at all so far. It came with the grinder plates and stuffer tubes. I got the smaller one (#5) and it works pretty good. It is rated to grind @ 2lb per hour and it does it just fine. If you want to do more than one deer at a time, you will want the #10. I used the stuffer without much of a problem other than it leaves meat behind, inside the grinder. A stuffer would work alot better, and its on my list as well. If you get a #10 size, let me know. I have a brand new set of stainless plates you can have.
  15. Really? I am the one thats an idiot? You are the one that pulled out the race card for no reason. Im pretty sure that you are the one that is actually being racist. There you go again WNY....using logic and an thoughout approach...You should know by now that Virgil can't process that. Sorry, I guess I forgot who I was talking to. ;D

  17. My advice would be to shoot as many bows as you can and pick the one that feels the best. Go to a bow shop (not a big box store like Gander or Dicks, etc) and have them measure your draw length so you can choose a bow with the right length for you, as they are not all cheap to adjust or even capable of adjusting. Some require modules to change the draw length, and they can get pricey. Also, try not to get caught up in the speed and high poundage game. A bow with a draw weight of 50 or 60 pounds shooting at under 300fps is just as capable of killing deer as a 70 pound bow shooting at 325fps. The lighter draw weight will allow you to draw more smoothly and have less of a chance of the deer catching your movement. Last but not least, once you have your bow, practice practice practice. When you get done, rest a bit and practice some more. Shoot from the ground, around cover if you can, from treestands, blinds, etc etc.
  18. Yeah the guy that did it twice was pretty stupid, how about this moron... Nov. 21 — Onondaga County: The hunter was attempting to place a carabiner around the trigger of his shotgun to pull the firearm up into a treestand when the gun discharged, striking him in the left foot.
  19. Thanks for the link, Im actually looking more for used unless I get a great deal on new.
  20. Nope, I read that as describing a socialist from Kenya. Whats racist about that?
  21. Like this........nevermind, I thought twice about that one....
  22. The ones on the face and the others where the neck bends (inside of the bend). The taxidermist put creases and folds in the cape, like it would look if it didnt have the swelling, thick coat and extra fat that they typically have in the fall and winter months. I have seen other mounts that are like that, and they just dont look natural. Its like the Taxidermist was going overboard with detail. For example, look at Joe's mount. That is what a deer looks like naturally. Then go look at the other one (last on the previous page) and it just looks unnatural.
