I bought the Gorilla G3 and I am going to also pick up the Tree Spider Live Wire to use with it. If you guys havent seen the Live Wire yet, youll want to take a look. I just checked their site, and they actually offer Predator 3D Deception now. I emailed them to see if they could do what I want, which is Green Deception on the riser and limbs, and black on the roller guard and string stop. I also want to keep the limbs looking kinda like they do from the factory, where you can see the layers on the edges. We will see if they can get it done for me.

Unless they got the rights recently, Tarjac doesnt do Predator camo, which is a bummer because I like supporting local companies. That Z7 looks great though!

wdswtr, you should sell that Lone Wolf. They go for a pretty good price used. Put it on Archery Talk and it will probably sell in a day or two.

Heres a quick pic... I bought it without the accessories (sight, stabilizer, rest). After the season is over Im going to send it out to have it dipped in Predator camo.

Just made a deal on a 2010 Maxxis 35, all camo with custom strings! I got a great deal, as it was the guys hunting bow and it has a couple of wear marks on the camo. For what Im paying, Ill have it sent out to be custom dipped after deer season is over.

The Lone Wolf stands are made in China. I would move to the Viper SS if I were you. You cant beat Summit stands and theres a world of diff between the steel and aluminum.

So I kinda fell into a little extra cash and decided to finally put my PSE away and get into something new this year. I am debating between the Hoyt Maxxis 31 and the Maxxis 35. I have shot the 31, and like it alot, but I want to stop by the bow shop and shoot another 31 and a 35 just to be able to decide which one Im going to get. They both have the same brace height, but the 31 is 5 or 6 fps faster, and with the ATA being shorter, easier to carry through the woods. The 35 on the other hand, is supposed to be alot more stable because of the longer ATA. I have seen properly tuned 35s shoot 298fps in a hunting config with broadheads, and 31s shoot just over 300fps setup for hunting, so its not that big of a difference. Im also going to get a different quiver, as my Treelimb quiver works great with mechanical BHs, but not so well with fixed blade, which is what I am going back to. The last 2 I have killed with a bow have been with Crimson Talon XTs, and they work great. I just dont trust mechanicals. I am going to put the rest, sight and stabilizer from my PSE on the new one. I may keep the PSE for backup, or I may choose to sell it. Who knows.

Youre talking about the API stands, right? Ive said the same thing to myself. I dont and never would trust plastic to support me up in a tree. Their climber is more expensive than the comparable Summits and the Summits are all steel or aluminum.

Well first of all, don't be mixing me in with those that have been trying to figure how many tags we are getting. I haven't even begun to delve into that one yet. So I am consistant in not making any assumptions on this issue. I can only go by what the current situations are and what is written in the plan. I will leave all the wishful thinking to those of you who need that sort of thing to justify your argument. I didnt mean to mix you into the people guessing at tag numbers. Why dont you email DEC with your questions and post the answers? I always have good luck getting answers when I toss questions their way. Yeah I agree on the rearm time. I am planning on getting another cam or two before too long. My fiance says I am getting one of the WGI 6mp mini cams, and I want to pick up something thats a little higher end like a Reconyx or Cuddeback.
