You can call me what you will, but I am a law abiding gun owner that supports the NRA and writes letters to my reps regarding issues I do and do not agree with. If you choose to make excuses for those that break the law, then you are just as wrong as they are. Change the laws if you dont like them, breaking them damages the reputations of the rest of us and puts our rights in jeopardy. THAT is the real shame.

Do I really think they will take our guns away? Not as long as we stay vigilant and support those who keep our rights safe (NRA, etc). Supporting or making excuses for those that break the law is only going to fuel the anti-gunners and give them more reason to take the guns away.

Oh, and yes, if he breaks the law, I hope he gets caught and pays the price for making the rest of us legal handgun owners look bad.

This isnt an insinuation that he will ignore the law? Sure looks like one to me. Like I said, regardless of the way you feel about the law, it needs to be followed until changed. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. If you are looking to hunt in another state, you need to educate yourself on the laws and follow them.

What I find ridiculous is people that claim to be law abiding, legal gun owners giving an insinuation that they will ignore the laws (regardless of my opinion of the gun law) and do what they want to anyway. That person would no longer be a law abiding gun owner, and I hope they get caught if they choose to break the law. Those are the types of things that give the rest of us a bad name. BTW, putting such an insinuation on a publicly accessible web forum isnt too bright either. You arent anonymous on the net.

There are no cars that run on water. You are thinking of fuel cell vehicles. They use hydrogen and their only emission is water. Supposedly they have some systems that can pull the hydrogen out of water, but so far they can only do this on a small scale. Those type of systems would only create more problems though. In many parts of the country, there are fresh water shortages, like out west and in the south. Its like the electric cars, you may save gas, but you have to pay for the electricity to charge them up, and the price of electric will go up as more people use electric cars. Do the research into the commodities market and you will see where the real culprits are. There is a glut of oil right now that cant sell, refineries are running below 80%, and demand is dropping by the day, but the prices still go up. It defies any sort of logic or reasonable set of laws for that matter. We are supposed to be getting paid by Iraq in oil for what we spent ousting the old regime, it was part of the original deal. We havent seen a drop of it yet. Its all a scam to part our money from our pockets, thats all. We need politicians in Washington that arent completely disconnected from what the average guy goes through. None of those rich a-holes worry about the price of gas, its pocket change for them. We are headed for another recession, have no doubt about it, and this one is going to be worse than the last one.

It actually depends on the rules for the particular piece of state land. All state land is supposed to be carry in, carry out though, so those idiots are breaking the law by not picking up their shells. Even when you are hunting, you are supposed to pick up your empties. I wouldnt worry too much about the clays too much, they will eventually crumble up and become part of the dirt, but what are those idiots doing shooting over a road? Thats illegal. I would talk to the local DEC officer.

$4 is ridiculous, there is absolutely no real reason for these prices other than the speculators lining their pockets. The loopholes in the speculation game need to be closed. If they were, the prices would be well under $3 again.

I like looking at the moon phase theory and comparing my observations to the predictions, but there is only 1 deer hunting theory that always works. The more time you are in the woods, the better chance you have.
