Previously we were towing with the old 98 Cherokee, and it did a good job. That truck went to car heaven over the winter and we picked up a 2003 Durango. It will tow better than the Jeep due to the extra weight, wheelbase and power.

Yeah towing big stuff is a trick at first. I think the biggest rig I towed was a 35 foot cabin cruiser on a triple axle trailer behind a big diesel U-Haul box truck. That was fun lol. Im going to set it all up with a weight distribution hitch with anti sway. Its funny you mention the backing up thing, I was just moving a boat in my dad's driveway this weekend and he was shocked how quick I got it done. I just looked at him and said "What do you think, Im new?" ;D

Id show up if my schedule allowed it. Could make it into a camping trip maybe.

Thanks Doe, I put a ton of hours into it last spring, and then just kept on going with the add ons. The next owner is gonna be happy with it. Nice Jayco, btw. I cant wait to get something bigger this year.

Nice finds guys. I havent had time to get out much this year. I have only gotten out once, and that was back in January I think. I doubt Ill be out looking much more if at all this year.

I got into it as a way to extend my hunting season and quickly fell in love with it. My dad shot a bow when I was little, but gave it up back then too. I always saw his bow laying around as a kid, it just never peeked my interest back then.

Jusy my personal opinion, camping with babies is a pain in the arse. Oh I know, been there, done it. Not gonna deprive my daughter all summer though. Camping trips are what she looks forward to all year.

Nice Elmer. Thats the one we are looking for too. We have found a couple, but people want too much, or maybe Im just too cheap lol. WNYBuckHunter If I am reading your post right, you think it is ok what the republicans are doing to this country and it's working. people. Do you know that if the republicans are successful in what they are trying to do, then you might as well hand them the key to the whole country because there will be only a one party system in the government and it will no longer the government of the people. Thats not what Im saying at all. I think the entire government is broken, on both sides. They are all out for themselves. I also dont think what you are insinuating is accurate though. I still say that no government job should be unionized. There should be no tenure in the schools, and government workers should get either better pay than the average private sector jobs or better benefits, not both.

If you are located near a camping world, call them, they usually rent them, but Im not sure what they rent out. If you are in the Rochester area, theres a guy on Scottsville Rd that rents out travel trailers, hybrids, the whole 9. I think its called Stacy's RV. Its up near the airport.

We have nothing planned yet for the first year in a while. Too much up in the air with selling the pop up, buying a new one and the baby coming. We are going to go at least a few times, but we dont have plans yet.

We have a 89 Starcraft Nova popup. Had it for 4 years. I went through and gave it a complete facelift outside last year. When you look at it now, you have no clue how old it is. I designed and painted the graphics myself. I still need to touch them up a little, but they turned out pretty good. We love our little camper, but will be selling her and moving to a hybrid or travel trailer this year, nothing too big, 24 or 26 feet tops, and I dont want any slide outs. Here are some before and after pics... What I started with the day I brought her home... Here she is after the face lift... Im gonna miss this little camper when its gone.

So your answer is to keep on funding the bloated pig of a government we have right now? Do you realize that 35% of the nation's workforce currently works for the government? You realize that those people get paid close to, if not better than their public sector counterparts, plus they get benefits that are tremendously better on average, then the retirement benefits to boot? You know where that 35% gets their paycheck, benefits and retirement from? You and I an everyone else that pays taxes. Then add to that the 58% of government spending that goes toward entitlement programs. Take a real good look at the figures and it makes your head spin. There is no way that ANY government job should be able to be unionized. All of them need to go. The only people I have heard that are against it are union members themselves.
