  1. Wow how do you make those eggs? Looks great.
  2. Finished off at 185 degrees. Just pulled it and the results are positive.
  3. Won't be ready till morning but after leaving Nashville I've wanted some pulled pork. Brined two days has a apple rub with cherry wood. Nice night for me and my pup to have a bbq.
  4. Scotchtown Craft if you know the area.
  5. Equilibrium Mobius. I haven't drank a porter in years but damn this was good.
  6. Well I'm going to stick to WTI and my local co-op. As always thanks for the input everyone.
  7. Yup there alive. Sun scald is what I'm thinking. I go up again next week I'll take some better pictures. Thanks for all the help everyone.
  8. Checked in on the pear trees I planted last year and almost all of them have the same thing going on. Some worse then others but I have no clue what's going on. I'm not expecting good news, does anyone have a guess on whats wrong? Trees are caged.
  9. Snow is finally gone, I seeded two plots today. If the deer didn't like the turnip they could have just left it for somebody else.
  10. Anybody have success or failure with their food plot seed? I understand most people will either say just go to your local ag supply or whitetail institute (I do both) but I'm interested in anything that works. As always thanks for any input.
  11. I like that deer in the first picture practicing his karate.
  12. Your on a roll the last couple days. Did you sous vide the eggs? Looks awesome btw
  13. No short stay for business. The rest was up to my wife, stayed on the main strip.
  14. Top picture is Jacks bbq bottom is Peg Leg bbq in Nashville. Whoa baby did I chow down on some brisket and pulled pork sandwiches the past few days. Bbq country music and some pretty women not to bad down here.
  15. Great idea for deep woods kill plots. Spray twice and plant wheat or rye. I've read all about no till plots, another point of reference is Growing Outdoors on YouTube they refer to no till as the "buffalo food plot system".
  16. Ugh what a bummer, went to camp today expecting 2-5 inches of snow with thunderstorms the next two days. Ended up having snow to my knees and I didnt bring my snow shoes. Put some cameras out and had a hell of a quad workout. Im going to wait two weeks and try again. Last year the first week of May was when all the snow was gone.
  17. Backstraps, blackened salmon, garlic potatoes and asparagus. I can taste the difference between an Orange County deer compared to a ADK deer for sure. Harvest, process, and cook the same way.
  18. Stuffed peppers with cream cheese, cheddar, hot sausage and garlic.
  19. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26242951/browns-acquiring-obj-giants One less Giant distraction
  20. Earliest I can frost seed is the last week of April. I was chomping at the bit last year but snow was 6 inches deep till May. I've seen people say not to mix red and white clover because they compete with each other. Chicory and clover is what I've had success with as far as mixes.
  21. Bob Kraft special. Went upstairs for a massage after my meal.
  22. Im in! My cabin is 30 minutes away, pretty convenient if Turning Stone is the choice. I can bring some Equilibrium beer which everyone seems to love.
  23. Maple for sure. I dropped 10 mature maples last year this time of year and within two weeks they were browsed down. Next time I'll put a trail cam on them.
  24. I might go on a date with you if you make this for me.
  25. No beer but my wife and i have been going here for 15 years. El Bindito in Middletown, best Sangria east of Orange County.
