  1. Seems like the right place for this, best price I've seen. https://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/whitetail-institute-imperial-whitetail-clover-seed-18-lb-bag?a=1837496
  2. I agree with Land you shouldn't need anything but a hand spreader. Winter wheat is a perfect nurse crop and after the clover establishes you can just mow the winter wheat or spray it. I frost seeded WI clover last week of April last year on top of about 4 inches of snow, by the end of May I had great results with fewer weeds then the previous attempt. I'm doing the same thing this year with Fusion. Good luck let us know how it works out. I would use 150% of the normal seeding rate but I've seen people suggest everything from 70% to 150%.
  3. Same buck three years in a row, first couple weeks of december. Internal memory was full so he might have been there earlier in the season. He was chasing a doe that came through a minute before. I did some snowshoeing today and saw two pear trees nipped down and lots of coyote tracks. Lesson learned 9 foot cage is needed in 5h do to snow for the pear trees. Phone number on the first picture is fine to show its a dead line.
  4. San Diego in Febuary, one smart man you are.
  5. Clemson brewery session ipa not as good as Equilibrium but another Middletown brewery beer.
  6. Sausage wrapped with bacon on top of pablano peppers onions and shallots. Fatty but amazing
  7. Can't like this enough I wish I could have made it. Awesome you all got together I'll make it next time regardless of work.
  8. Nope I just laid the bags over the front disks and went for it.
  9. Thanks I really appreciate it. I started three years ago not even knowing what lime was. I have learned a lot from this site and every year I feel more confident. That harrow and atv can do a lot of work with the right conditions.
  10. Worth it for me but you need to add weight and make circles. I had trouble with my hitch at first and without weight it doesn't do much. However I added either one or two 80 lbs bags of fertilizer as you can barely see in the third picture and it made a 100% difference. I would recommend as I've had it for two years adding three small plots from scratch the largest being 3/4 of an acre. Any more questions fire away.
  11. Making a trip to Buffalo on the 15th for Rangers Sabres game, I think I will be trying these. You should get a commission for all of us hunters that go there because of your pictures.
  12. Thanks I've been looking at this model I bought one. Thanks again for the heads up!
  13. I lurk more then post but I'm around the same spots as you. You need a ride for this meet up or need food tips in Orange or Sullivan County let me know. Lettuce doesn't always do the job
  14. Why 20 foot stands over 16? Good luck with the neighboring property I hope to do the same.
  15. I feel the same way as Jeremy. Buying a good climber after my buddy showed me the light. More food plots, more hinge cutting to make use of all 40 acres of my land. Go further in then I ever have on state land.
  16. I think between Middletown, Pine Bush and and Wallkill there are abput 6-8 people. I'm out of town on business that weekend but if plans change I will be there.
  17. Hanger steak. Served with a spicy green sauce pretty good
  18. Lamb stew from scratch. I have some Hanger steak that is ready to cook after a 24 hour marinade. Sous vide or cast iron that is the question.
  19. Rory Dolans holy shit small world. That place is ripe for the pickings if your a single guy. I wish I could say I would be able to attend the meet up regardless of the meeting place but it's dependent of work for me. If you ladies decide on a place finally Im in if business allows me regardless of the area. Chef you know a bartender named Laurie down there?
  20. Bone in ribeye with mushrooms in a brandy sauce. Love a fatty ribeye
  21. The owners had a falling out and they split the brewery in two. One side has food but doesn't sell many Equilibrium beers I believe (i needed food). I know one of the guys involved from drinking at another local spot around here, he said this brewery had been in the works for about 10 years. Well it took less then two years for them to go their own ways. Seems like an awkward setup but to each their own I hope it works out for both of them. Great beer, as local as it gets for me. I have a store an 1/8 of a mile away great place for late night meetings.
  22. I'm looking at this and saying man that looks so familiar. Then I realized I had five of them last night at Equilibrium Brewery in Middletown. Damn good not too much citrus just right, only produced a slight headache as I woke up for work today.
  23. I have a retail store in the Danbury Mall crazy the crap that happens in malls.
