  1. actually according to BLM mission statement and public statement that does make you incompatible with them .... just saying not my rules its BLM saying that
  2. just a few thought in my 24 yrs as LEO cops are pro gun as long as legal and responsible owners, they have no input on gun laws , and as long as Americans are speaking in terms of our side and you side and not speaking as we are all Americans with thoughts and ideas and willing to hear each others views in calm adult matter then nothing will improve......
  3. My point is not political or to blame any political figure rep or dem, for present or past riots it does amaze me how adults feel that violent riots is the answer,,,,,, but since you brought up politics ,,,i feel that yes trump has some of the blame on his shoulders for today just like some dem mayors and other politicians handcuffed the police and let there cities get destroyed by BLM and Antifia
  4. I would say lack of arrests is purely a numbers issues say it takes two or three cops to arrest one violent suspect, and when your already outnumbered its just not possible it appeared to me with the number of cops there was no way they could control the scene.... hopefully arrest will come from people identified via video, just amazing to me be it BLM ANTIFIA or whatever this group was today think any violent riot is the answer ,,, My support goes out to the police caught in the middle
  5. theres nothing thats maintance free at minimum you at least got to kill some weeds and scratch the ground some, the easiest to plant is rye grain,
  6. ive never looked into i may but ive been told not "facts" by people in it that say if u want to clear cut an area for food plot that is timber thats a no go, or just cut some fire wood thats live trees thats a no and when u do logging a % of $ goes to town or county or somthing maybe some guys on here can verify or advise if this is false
  7. Telephone poles are hard to come by know at least in NY I looked around and asked a few guy from utilitie co. they said they are required to cut and grind the old ones up, and most new ones come from down south....so shipping just a couple is not an option
  8. a large pot of water ontop of stove works to we got a 4gallon one at camp amazing how much water burns off but keeps the air from becoming to dry
  9. Maybe some do I guess the one you shot had bad recoil , but then again its more likely the specific gun u shot, ive shot some 12ga shot guns that kick like a mule others not bad , but in all i would say shoot some others prior to buying if recoil is the biggest issue for u buy the heaviest muzzleloader u can find and put a good recoil pad on it....
  10. u have no experience from what have gathered from this post and past posts
  11. T-way was closed due to fatal accident in the area of stota
  12. Ugh just herad 20in and still snowing down at my camp wanted to get down there sunday with muzzel loader and get wheeler home not going to be fun ,,,,
  13. I would try tiller, then broadcast the seed, cultipack prior to good rain
  14. gun hunting cant beat barassicas imo,,,,
  15. Ive found that clover will come up year after year and it really is liked by deer but its far from maintance free mowing a couple times is min. weed control is a pain thats why im getting away from clover in the spring summer and early fall most areas have enough natural food, also ive found to have a good clover plot your ph as to be at least a 6.5 that can also be a complete pain ,,, also ive found once you get your first frost the clover stops growing and the deer usually have mowed right down to nothing around nov1st, leaving little or no food, If your looking for a bow spot clover is great but it can be a short window
  16. more deer overall but less in some areas way more in others
  17. Weird ive heard of deer not eating them but they crush mine already feeding heavy on them, i have no ag for miles or other food source other then natural browse
  18. Its rare since most doe i think 90% have been bred like others said it only takes one hot doe to make a small area really hot and good for a few days, but if your not sitting right where the action is could be a dead zone, late rut is very hit and miss
  19. corn and soy beans are tuff in small areas less then 5acres between birds squirrels and coons and what the deer nip off when they first pop up its very tuff to get a good plot maybe look at a radish mix big n beasty from frigid forage works well for me
  20. so you can use an ATV at least on your land yet u choose to leave the shoulders to go to waste so it really has nothing to do with the drag at least on private land , again i would be amazed if you can tell the differance between ground meat from shoulders then any other part deer
  21. its in writing the basic regs are not hard to understand at all i just went thru the book real quick these question are all answered its perfectly what and when tags can be used and what weapons when and wear its clear people just dont take time and read them,,, ugh i surprised we dont have more hunting related injuries
  22. yes 2 bucks if you have your regular season buck tag and either sex bow/muz tag left
  23. um u most certainly can use regular season tags in late season and more so your regular buck only tag changes to either sex,,,, does anyone read the regs or go thru the hunting course it amazing people that actually hunt and carry a gun have no clue what the regs are
