We lost ours due to budget cuts. I’m thankful there are locked areas going into each school and can’t just enter the school you have to be let in. However doesn’t stop someone from sneaking in a side door or something like that. country pisses away money all the time just make it a branch of the federal government with special training for those individuals to work in schools they need to have the ability to communicate, de-escalation skills with kids and staff while being able to protect at the same time.

I don’t know what to say. Gave my kids an extra hug tonight before bed. Had a scare at kids concert that had me on edge. They sang don’t talk about Bruno and had a kid walking around with his hood up covering his face hands in his pocket and had a flashlight in the pocket. Walking towards the stage. Ended up being apart of the show.told my wife it was not the time to being doing that.

Thanks we’ve been here for 4 years It had nice landscaping when we bought the place but small upgrades over the years have made a big difference. As for the mowing I have so many trees I don’t need to start mowing until may and once the leaves come out I mow once every 10 days. It’ll change when I knock down all the trees on my list.

That’s next years project if I can’t get to pressure washing the house this year.

Double post

On my 3rd cut of the year, mulch is finally in and flowers coming up. Held off on a couple spots in the back because I plan on having a couple trees taken down this summer.

I did find the trail leading out of the bedding area and put the camera there so I didn’t bother the bucks to bad hopefully. One of my hunting partner and I have to really get in there together to break it down completely and find a setup in the next week or 2. helps having someone with the same mind set and style of hunting to bounce ideas off.

Just the cheap Tasco from Walmart. Didn’t want to put a nice out on stateland that long to have it get stolen even though I doubt anyone will go into where i have it. I would of liked it farther into the swamp but I have to walk past the mama bears den and just don’t want to test my luck. I guess I’ll see what happens

How long do you let a camera soak? I just put one in today for a spot I know of a big buck and found 4 beds that are good buck beds wore down to dirt. I have a camera sitting on the trail leading out of the bedding area. Don’t expect many picture until fall since it’s so thick and I don’t think the bucks will hang out in there with their antlers growing. I also put lithium batteries, 1 shot burst every minute. it’s tucked about 5yards off the trail and about 5ft up so it doesn’t bother the deer as much. anyone have good luck doing this? Plan is to go in mid July and make sure camera is still working and doesn’t have any limbs in the way. Then I’ll stay out until December except to hunt.

Do you ever fly into cooperstown?

Thinking of those involved. Shows clear as day it not a gun issue it’s a mental health issue. State needs to worry more about the mental health of people than the guns. My wife works in the mental health field and there’s no money to help people who really need and no where to put the crazy bastards like this kid in and out of society. She has a client now who openly told people he wanted to be on the news for killing people and even tried killing his own mother. Took 8 months to get the kid put away in a hospital to get him help. NYS failed to protect those people but the responsible gun owners will have to deal with the affects of it.

That’s what I thought also but they got it out.

Found out yesterday my parents and 2 of their neighbors had all the gas in their tanks stolen last week. They all went and put locks on there gas caps.

To any of the moms out there Happy Mothers Day. wife wanted 2 thing to sleep in and a hammock chair. Both have been accomplished.

Long day in the woods. At least 6 miles walked no birds sounded off didn’t even see many when we switched spots this morning driving.

Up and ready nephew is still passed out on my couch letting him sleep a little bit longer since he worked until 930 last night.

You have some nice trophy’s Biz

My left to right was good once I got used to the gun but the blazer just stayed low. I’m happy my carry round shoot where I aim. Just wanted to make sure it was a fairly common thing. Still need to shoot it a bunch more before I decide to carry it.

So I just bought my first pistol last week. Monday I was able to finally shoot it. My question is I was shooting blazer 115 grain and hornady critical defense. The blazers shot consistent 5” low at 10 yards while the hornady hit right where I was aiming. Not used to pistol ammo but is this a common thing? Not the end of the world just aim higher for my target practice with the blazers.

I have the golden boy and love it. Need to get a version like above since I don’t like taking the golden boy out and scratching it.

Property line saved the bird I was on. Ran around to cut him off and came across the bear and her cubs. This times a lot farther away. So I sat and watched her dig through logs while the cubs were running around climbing trees. She actually has 3 cubs cute little shits. Oh well home how have some stuff to do this morning.

I’ll be out Sunday morning trying to chase some birds. Nephew has stuff to do in the morning and I have to be done by 830 so we won’t get out together this weekend. I’m off all the following weekend so we will be chasing them Saturday and Sunday.
