thanks everyone, just couldn't not do anything to help him out. hope he makes it but one things for sure his chances are a whole lot better now than before I found him. A couple years back I was finding ducks all over the village froze up during an extremely cold and snowy spell we were having and there was heavy ice cover on the bay and lake. I found one huddled against the gas pumps at the pit stop while I was shovelling out the pumps. I was taking them and thawing them in my truck and then letting them go in the open water areas around bubblers. towards the end I was taking them 25 miles to Seneca lake and letting them go.

Been running crazy this week doing prep work on a new build and finished up drafting the set of prints this afternoon and went to see the bldg. Inspector but he was gone for the day. So what else to do but go check in the water and ice. I pull in and just as I am ready to leave I see a drake blue bill huddled in the sand I could see he needed help and without help he would not survive. I tried getting out but he started to dart towards the water and I knew if he made it to the water he would not survive for long. So I sent Ziva to get him knowing that she would not hurt him and would bring him back to me. That worked like a charm but now that I had him I couldn't hold him and cut all the line off him so I called my buddy Doug and he came down to help. I put him in my truck so he could warm up as he felt extremely cold to the touch. We had a tough time getting all the line cut and untangled but we finally got all the line off him and after a thorough exam other than a few missing wing feathers on the elbow and an open sore and being malnourished he seemed ok. So I walked him to the waters edge told him don't come back next duck season and set him in the water and he swam away then swam back towards me as I left. He should be able to eat in the shallows till he builds up strength and heals up. Sent from my LGL58VL using Tapatalk

either a fernco coupler or if you dare try to back the nipple out of the cast iron pipe so you can then thread in a male thread pcv fitting in its place. But to be honest it will be much easier to plumb everything together with a fernco as you will have a little flexibility to get everything back together. we did a metal roof last fall on a place that had a leak a few years back and they had a new shingle roof done but still but only when it rained and it wasn't a bad leak just a very small leak in the same spot as before. so we did the metal roof and made sure to make a good seal on the boot around the 1 1/2" galv roof vent. well last Nov. they called and had a leak in the same spot. I went back and what we found was the vent went up the wall to a 90 then turned horizontal for 3' to a 90 then up through the roof. what had happened was the horizontal pipe had a hole rotted through from rain water going into the stack through the roof and water laid in the pipe and rotted the metal away. so I split a fernco and patched the hole. then put a fernco on the stack with a dbl 90 of street L's. no more leak. lol.

just a question about the issue you had to quell my curiosity......... you had 1 breaker trip and how many devices (outlets, lights, gfi's ) were affected? how many rooms , outside outlets, out buildings were affected on that one circuit? Just asking because I have seen some pretty insane wiring jobs. It amazes me that one of if not the #1 cause of fires in buildings is electrical related and people will go the cheaper route and combine rooms and devices to save money on breakers and wire. This is by no means a jab at you moho81 its just a general statement from years of experience. BTW nice neat panel work in your picture, This is one of my biggest pet peeves doing panels, make it look neat! nothing more aggravating than taking off a panel cover and seeing spaghetti wiring.

after almost 17 years with verizon I switched to straightalk and still kept verizon as the carrier, kept my old phone and phone number all for $50 a month. unlimited text, calls and enough data to never go over. my coverage is the same as it was before. have had no issues in almost a year, and have saved almost $50 a month to boot. between the cell companies, cable and satellite companies its a joke what they charge anymore.

thanks everyone, I didn't plan on fishing today but my buddy sent me a text at 830 and asked if I would go out with him as he wont go alone,,,,, had just finished up a couple building permit applications for jobs and figured why not. ended up 3 of us going and came in 4 hours later with 130 perch between us. no pike today but some jumbo perch to clean. now I am waiting on BBQ spare ribs to finish cooking, and its race night! thanks again for the birthday wishes I appreciate it.

Had to fish again today, we were filling buckets when the perch bite died quick. I had Judy's tonnage rod deployed when it took a good bite. I knew it was no perch peeling line off the reel faster than a prom dress comes off. 15 minutes later we finally got a look at the fish as it swam past the hole. The 4th attempt to get its head into the hole was a success and Doug was able to slip the gaff into its gill and hoisted it out onto the ice. I was gonna let it go but he wanted it so we kept it. I moved 20 yards drilled 2 more holes and we finished off our perch limits. Sent from my LGL58VL using Tapatalk- 525 replies

spent the day on the ice as well. took out our truss builder and a couple of his workers, we all did good on the perch, I spent all day walking and drilling holes but got 50 good fish and confirmed some of my honeyholes are still holding fish but too many people out to spend much time there to work them over. probably walked 4 miles and drilled at least 40 holes., gave my new auger a workout and am quite pleased with how easy it went through a foot of ice. the only drawback of the day was getting a pretty good sunburn and windburn. -
absolutely 100% muscle killing machines. very efficient hunters

pa elk are free range and have been since day 1, they are a majestic animal but around the benezet area they are about domesticated animals as they hang out right in town. but if you venture out to Winslow hill you will see plenty of wild elk.

Go pro is the worst 400 I ever spent! I bought a handi cam for filming the kids and it works good but obviously much larger than the go pro. For myself I rarely try to film myself because I want to be 100% focused on killing my target animal. Sent from my LGL58VL using Tapatalk

the entire bay is NOT safe, an area that had a hundred people fishing on good ice 2 days ago is open water today. if you are headed to sodus give me a shout before you make the trip. -

thanks doe. finished up a roof fix this morning and my buddy said lets go......don't gotta tell me twice. LOL we hit the ice at 130 and were back by 5, I drilled 5 holes took 10 jumbos out of each hole, my buddy drilled 2 holes and worked those over to get 23 jumbos. Drives him nuts to drill a hole 5 feet from me use the same lure and watch me catch 2-3 to his 1 LOL if nothing else we have a fun time bustin chops while fishing. -

never got one, likely never will. I do not take any medication unless absolutely necessary and even then reluctantly i will. to me its nothing more than poison. when I had my gall bladder and hernia surgery I found hydrocodone pills the next morning that judy had picked up on the way home the previous evening, I didn't take one of them. when the dr.asked me 2 weeks later if I needed a refill I told him i never took any and had told him I didn't want the script to begin with, his reply was well when you got off the gurney less than an hour after surgery and got dressed and tried walking out of the hospital i shoulda known you would not take those pills.
