  1. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing has changed on this end, still says expired and no deal on the pricing.
  2. I'm in 6K and feel your woes. They will be caught sooner or later.....and when they do..gonna be fun.
  3. I'm very impressed with this blind so far.Very easy to set up,and I like the material. The door is a little small, but maybe that's normal....never owned one before.
  4. Mine is up on sticks and YES the floor is freaken cold.Laminated flooring....gonna end up either super insulating it or carpet. We nailed up blueboard, like 1" under it on the runners but don't do nothing for it IMO. Probably pull it all down, run regular ins inbetween the joists and then put the board back up.We were worried about condensation, but it ranges from about 2 1/2' to close to 4' off the ground.
  5. What is the bottom smoke pole? Never saw a stock like that. Nice buck and room.
  6. Anyone smoke a pipe? Not weed, regular tobacco. What kind of pipe do you use?
  7. "Most hunt with a gun because they are too lazy to put in the time with a bow. I'd prefer they didn't hunt at all but thats not an option." WOW!
  8. 10x a day?...... Lucky once a month here:)....aren't they supposed to be learning?
  9. If I had to pick 1 musician,I would have to pick John Denver as my favorite for many reasons.
  10. I ordered my first ground blind a few days ago, will be here via fedex today. Hub type, the Turret XL from Killzone. On their site it's $125/free ship and I found they also had a store on fleaby and it was better priced there for $109.99 free ship. It's 72x72x 64" http://www.ebay.com/itm/130804523607?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 I plan on using it on the ground and on a raised 12' platform.
  11. Doc I agree...how they make it when the snow is over their heads?
  12. Tough question there. Depends on the mood I suppose.I was raised listening to country and Bobby Vinton etc. I will be 49 and my music ranges from Pavarotti to heavy metal.I find it relaxing after a very stressful day,to come home, grab an ice cold beer, sit at my bar and crank some Pavarotti for a song or 2.Other days,I come home, grab an adult beverage and crank some Metallica....sometimes I like easy listening,80's or when I get sick of all of the above,I love the 50's. Then there are those times I get a good buzz going and get into Ice Cube gangsta material.
  13. So sorry to hear that Joseph. My condolences.
  14. The catelog expired on the 21st. I tried to make an order for 10.
  15. Two days ago they called for 1/4" of rain and a temp of 39F.....the weather man really did well on this one.......we got 4" of snow!
  16. An oh chit moment...my bad for not checking the link. The skeeter machine is what I was thinking bout, sry.
  17. Yes,yes and yes.Awsome product, works very well...as long as the wind is low to moderate.
  18. Nice stinky goats.Muley is unique,very nice.
  19. I can't locate the data that Remington sent me.It could well have been sighted 2" high @ 100 and zero at 400. I do have the load data as far as powder how much and what kind, that's all I can find. I had come up with a load that worked well out of my 244 so I sent the data to rem and they mailed me back with the ballistics. All I remember is that it was zero at 400. Don't forget that the 244 and 6mm,even though they are concidered the same, there are differences in the 2....such as the first mod 722's have a 1 in 12" twist and the newer(6mm) have 1 in 9".Makes a difference in what bullets they will handle.
  20. Sighted in @25yrds,didnt know I had to explain it all. 45/70 is a wee bit large for squirrel Lawdwaz
  21. No evidence....what cake? We have some excellent berry picking here....but keep an eye open for the bear, they want them more than you do.A few times the wife and I went for blueberries and had the dog and 3 kids with us. More than once we ran into bear.
  22. 223,22-250 22 swift...all is good.BUT if you do not reload, finding 223 ammo can be a ball buster ....for now, maybe for quite some time,I dunno. 22 Hornet is sweet too and 204 Ruger. EDIT: Yeah,6mm too...according to Remington, the load I have is dead on @400 from my Mod 722 244Rem. I have the letter somewhere but not gonna look for it.
  23. I'm heading to my local "Dick's Sporting Goods" tomorrow. Will update on in stock ammo in the afternoon. I know....some of you don't like Dick's but it's whats close for me.
